Watched episode 1:
Delayed in watching because other anime got my attention. However, was happy to have started this now... first episode is better than expected. Teko is growing more confident, even if only in small steps at a time. That barbecue really looked delicious, and I wonder if grandma is even making a profit... she gives out so much for free. Thanks for the reminder. Anyway, this is the kind of anime, I tend to watch last.. after watching all else for the week. Amanchu helps me sit back and relax ... remember the joys of even simple things in life. Although episode 1 had me a bit worried.. Teko said something about being separated from Pikari - I wonder if that will happen someday?

Episode two was wonderful. That's the best word for it. You'll probably learn a bit of trivia, too. A fun, touching, and educational anime! This season is doing a way better job at grabbing the spirit of the manga so far.

Watched episode 2:
Teko goldfish yukata is kawaii. And that's a nice fireworks display they watched there. Is that a moray eel that Kokoro wants to grab? So far, I'm enjoying season 2 more than season 1. I don't fall asleep here.

The second season is still quite slow with respect to progression, but at the ending of episode three, it looks like things could ramp up a little in the near future.

I've heard that navigation with a compass is a prerequisite to getting the open water certification, so that would explain things nicely. With this being said I also enjoyed the episode immensely – Mato is a very life-like instructor, being mature where she needs to be, and playful where she needs to be

It pains me that so few people seem to be watching this show.
They did a really good job expanding on the original chapter this week. I'd say at least 1/3 of the ep was anime original. The ending of Teko's dream was completely different. In the manga, she didn't go hunting for cherry blossoms, instead she was teaching the girl more about lucid dreaming, and warned her that while it's an amazing experience, you must be careful not to think about scary stuff... which of course made the girl's mind immediately go there, and things got so spooky Teko had her awaken. That reminds me they never adapted the story where Pikari meets a super scary ghost in an empty bus at night, and most likely never will since I think it's a pretty old chapter. That and it wouldn't fit the atmosphere of the anime. Not that it fit the manga either, that really came out of nowhere Anyway, this time, I really liked the anime's changes. So far they're doing a really great job this season.

The first half of this week's episode introduced one of the dangers of diving. Teko could have gotten hurt. I think the fault wasn't just hers though. When you've got a newbie diver with you, it makes sense to me to let them swim in front of you so you can monitor them. Instead, she was at the back of the line.
The second half was far more lighthearted. Kodama got a proper introduction in the anime, and the famous siren turned out to be... yeah
