It looks pretty decent. I do like the sketch although it didn't turn out quite like the reference (Right eye too close to the nose, short nose, upper lip too high, thin neck) it is pretty decent work (overall I think the horizontal lines are shorter compared to the vertical ones, in other words the height/width proportion is a little bit off, but that's about it I think).

It's not that horrible...there's some nice technique there. I guess her eyes might be a tad small/spaced too far apart, and her neck might seem disconnected, but damn, that body and those clothes...

45-minute sketch donein Paintchat to test atmosphere for upcoming manga project.

Pretty good stuff Asura.

Okay, it might be kinda hard to tell what's going on in "soul collector". Don't really want to provide redundant information if you have no problem identifying parts of the picture, so have a look first, and post request if you wanna know what it is.

Btw, if I register myself on Imageshack, will I be able to upload pictures without having them renamed? The suffix code is an eyesore.

nice sketch Shoeshefied, I like the hair a lot.

This was a practice with inking, so I guess I'll post the pencil and the ink sketches. Pencil took about 10 minutes, Pen about 15 i would say. I don't keep track of time XD'

Lol, I like the title. It really does look like she's barfing in her hat!

Good, clean line work. Her position is interesting. I like the waviness of her hair, too.

Been awhile since I plagued you guys with my crap art. Here's a ball point pen sketch of an original character, Yumeko. Sorry the pic is big, but when I tried to reduce it, the picture quality crapped up.

Yumeko, ball point pen sketch

Edit: Here's another pic, this time of Yumeko's twin sister Yumiko. I like sketching with ball point pen. It's fun to go crazy with pen, for some reason.

Ha, no one replied to my post yet. No one really DOES want to look at my crap art, do they? Figures.

Decent pictures. They're not crappy at all. Both well drawn (first one is a bit noisy, because of the scanner?) unfortunately I don't know what the original looks like. I don't see anything wrong with them and maybe that's why no one is commenting. Try different poses / angles

I had to post this one. My first paintchat painting (still w/mouse). I must say, paintchat is extremely fun! When I get my tablet no one will be able to drag me out of that place.
Boyface with weird shading.

Edit: Wtf? I had the URL to one of Harry-kun's images!? I'm so sorry

Ano...your pic won't show for some reason, nh1-san. I keep getting this File Not Found error message, and that sucks.

Yeah, the first one scanned funny, and it only got worse when I resized it. I should try rescanning it, and maybe it'll come out clearer. But you're right. I do have a tendancy to draw the same angle, probably because anything I draw in any other position comes out pretty bad and unnatural looking. I guess I just like drawing in my comfort zone, no? But I try to change it, to little avail at this point.

I'm glad, though, that you didn't think my art was bad. That always makes me happy. ^.^;;

wow, nh1, is that floating head of doom? I like the coloring technique you used, makes it look like a semi-oil-painting.

http://img109.exs.cx/img109/8787/couplevampire6ln.jpg

This picture is a version of vampiricsm I've been experimenting with. I chose to make the characters look less anime to amplify the haunting mood of the picture.
