I know this is a tad off topic, but is dose have to do with KNJ, I just watched Ep 6 of the KNJ anime. the Aki-chan arc. When I read the pages of that arc, they made me sad, and I enjoyed the artwork. But when I watched it in the anime, I was in tears with the compleat and total sadness of the scean where Aki wrote a note just befor her death, saying. "I'm sorry"

I dont know why, but seeing the sequince of events leading up to her death, was much more heart wrenching than reading them, EVEN THO.... I knew it was comeing.

I think that the anime did the Aki getting sick and dieing arc much more justus than the pages of the manga.

I just wanted to say that. And I wonder if anyone else has had a chance to see the dicotomy between the 2 modes of story telling.... now I need to go get drunk. I hate truely sad things!

that's why i try to keep away from that specific chapter and episode. i've only seen the episode and read the manga once and it made me baaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww like a little girl.

Okay I am new here, I just got thru reading all 30 whatever pages that is on here. My my this is an interesting thread. I love the tone of this thread. Its serious. I have never found such a serious thread on something I like before, bravo ladies and gentleman. I would comment on the old stuff, but its not polite to bring up old stuff, so I won't.

Okay for my comments, this story is interesting, interesting I say. You have 2 virgins that are getting their personalities augmented by their first love experiences. (daisuke is a confirmed virgin, but I'm not sure if shiro-chan is one. I know that its implied she is one because I remember her getting worked up at the mentioning of virgin, but I'm not sure if she is confirmed). On top of that, both of their love interests are little kids. As much as shiro-chan is uncomfortable, I bet she is relieved the same amount to hear another female give her love. And as much as daisuke is stressed about his interactions with rin-chan, I'm sure he is relived the same amount to have her saying I love you, lets have sex, etc... (if boin-sensei had said the same things to him, imagine how hentai this story would be now... Remember he has never experienced a woman, he would JUMP at the chance to be with one its because of boin-sensei's adult sensiblity that she is losing to rin-chan. Rin has no inhibitions so she is telling daisuke exactly what's on her mind. If she would just touch or say anything to daisuke, she would win hands down) Now with in pages of shiro-chan receiving kuro-chan's love, she has turned much more human. Her bitch mode is being suppressed and she is being kind to others. Now because of rin-chan's advances daiske has already rationalized that his feelings for rin-chan are "fatherly love". So he is okay with holding and touching rin-chan now. Skinship isn't really a problem anymore. It will only be a little while more until he is comfortable kissing her (fathers do it).I feel his main problem is that he has never felt love before, so I believe he is mislabeling his love as "fatherly love". But I think that daisuke will find out how emotionally attached he is to her, if reiji does anything to her. I think at least super saiyan level 2, nothing less will be an accurate container for his rage, lol. I think the next step that daisuke will have to conquer or rationalize is his emotions for rin-chan. Ah, love is the catalyst that turns daisuke and shiro-chan into dynamic characters.

Wasn't that long and random, I really don' think I explained it too well, but if I get flamed I'll try to clarify. But someone commented on how the other random teacher is married with kids, so what. That does not exclude him from cheating. So I will still believe he likes shiro-chan.

So lets list it:
love chart

Unrequited love (love not returned)

kuro-chan (probably over it now) ->rin-chan
boin-sensei -> aoki-sensei
random teacher dude ( this is a possiblity too, no proof) -> shiro-chan
american-chan (usa-chan, lol) -> reiji
rin-chan (technically) -> aoki-sensei
reiji -> rin-chan
aoki-sensei -> the dirty magazines he reads (AV idols hate virgins, lol)
shiro-chan ->her job, but it looks like it might change

reciprocated love (love is returned)

random teacher dude -> his wife

Out of the whole kodomo no jikan world, everyone loves someone, but no one loves the right person, so very interesting indeed. aoki-sansei and shiro-chan are the only ones with 2 people potentially "wanting them", since kuro-chan has "switched" her interests. They are the flipping virgins! But I really really am interested in this story panning out. I don't want it to end. I am also sure that we have not had all the twists we will be exposed to. Watashiya-san, please amaze me, onegaishimasu.

Oh yea, last thing I promise, I just bought all 4 of the current volumes from amazon.jp, got them used so I guess I'm not supporting watashiya-san, but I can't read japanese well enough to read it to myself, but the story is good enough to save till I can! Got it for a steal too like 2 and a half dollars a book. I'm not really into collecting, I just want it in readable condition. Oh yea the guys getting on gamma for collecting, that pissed me off! Why can't she do what she wants with her money? If a guy can pay 20 bucks for soiled underwear and 50 on porn, she can't spend 400 a month on collecting?

OMFG such a great chapter. Now we are seeing that rin really wants to protect the reiji/aki love. She nipped that lady in the bud quite quickly. I thought man reiji could be a playboy in this chapter. that girl was so head over heel and he just talked to her...

Now we are seeing that aoki is verbally saying get off me rin, but is very comfortable with her in his lap. Actually he is kinda like hugging her and talking to her, like a lover on his lap... So he sees the hickie on her neck, I think this will start the manifestation of emotional love in aoki. He now has something to confront reiji on. I think he will protect his little rin. But what will rin do? She knows that reiji is abusing her (even if he doesn't realize she knows), going so far as to hide the marks she found on her body and skipping all things that could expose her marks. So she is acting like a typical person who is abused and is not letting anyone know. So following that type of behavior, she will probably try to protect the person who is abusing her. But she is trying to avoid being abused on her own. She makes up an excuse not to bathe with reinji... this story is getting really good really fast!

Now I have to wait another month... This is too hard! But this looks like it will shape up to be an epic story.

reiji was asked if he will adopt rin, and he gives a similar response to what he he gave aki when she asked did she want her to adopt him. I think he reasoning is similar as well. He doesn't want to mess his chances of marriage up. He also bought a ring, will it be a metaphorical wedding ring?

Kind of sad that it feels like the manga is coming to an end :/ Thought chapter 33 was really great. Chapter 33 was quite predictable to, was expecting this outcome since like 20 chapters ago but I still love the manga as much anyway ^^.
