permanentely bored

i tested ayako's subs the joke at the begining were funny but the translation of the conversation between kana and chiaki seemed te be a bit rude to say the least... i dont really see 2 sister of 12~10 years old call each other bitch etc etc.
the quality for the encoding was very good though. |

Finally saw the last episode. What a blast.
1. Hosaka in his cloth-shedding glory is back. 2. Juices from overseas. If I had to guess I'd say it was Odwalla Superfood or some other strange mixtures from that company. To the unacquainted Japanese tongue those "smoothies" could be pretty potent, not to mention all the strange chemicals and minerals and other health boosters they've stuck in there. 3. If we are measuring comedy power like combat power in Dragon ball, Hayami's would be in the top five in this series; whenever her eyes open, the meter (and fear factor) goes over 5000. I love Hayami; if Hosaka's "Quest for Haruka" falls through some how I hope the two end up together. Their kids would be the GARest, funniest support characters anime has ever known. 4. Chiaki's... um, dumbling oner head moving with a life of its own was fantastic. 5. Uchida's kimono is ruined; too bad, those things cost a lot. 6. Hosaka's GAR and comedy power is over 10,000. That's super saiyan. 7. The ending pan shot with Hosaka on the mountain as he laughs and welcomes the new year's with a messiah pose clearly foreshadows that he will be the boss next season, if he wasn't already. The ending also establishes him as the true hero of Minamike, albeit a Tragic Hero; was it just me or did a trace of sadness carry in his final laugh?

This is interesting. Apparently the first DVD of Minami-ke Season 1 included a special Haruka solo version of the ED theme. (I saw it on Nico, that's how I found out.) I can only hope later volumes include a Hosaka solo version of anything. That man is worthy of it.

ah, btw....
Hosaka, the fantasizing smexy dude who's crushing on haruka is daisuke ono- itsuki koizumi TMOHS Chiaki Minami is voiced by Chihara Minori, a.k.a. Nagato Yuki. Fitting, they're both intelligent. At first, I couldn't tell that hosaka and minori were voiced by there respective seiiyuus from TMOHS, but after some research and close listening, I realized it. ^^ D'oh! I just started watching this season, me likey! So just sharing some two cents. ^^ |

Anyone wish to do a review of "Sensei and Ninomiya-kun?" Here's a collection of all Ninomiya-kun related scenes from Minami-ke! Niconico link
Also, a mod of KnuckleFighter-X to play the classic scene of Sensei vs Ninomiya-kun in Samurai Spirits style! Niconico link.

im sure this has been asked b4 but has there been any explanation for how haruka divides her life? does she hav a part-time job or does she get money from some government support program. all she does seem to do is attend school. i also hope there is a explanation as to how haruka got into the role of a mother becuse of an unknown absense of their parents.

Yeah, that makes sense as well.
On an unrelated note. I was eating curry while watching Minami-ke (after realizing "Ah! I didn't watch the first season) and started watching it, and my mom came in after i finished, sat down, and started eating her curry while watching it. I think she likes it, cause now I wanna do other things on my computer, and she's saying "Ahh, I wanna watch"

Minami-ke meets Nursery Rhyme, niconico link. "Main characters" include the Minami sisters, Hosaka (aka Kimochiwarui) and Mako-chan (aka Baka na Kodomo)!

Edit: I did a translation on the site text and got - "created to commemorate the 300,000 regeneration". So this is a little AMV for the fans by the network to celebrate 300k hits on the Minami-ke website? I noticed the video opening has a similar mention - "300,000 HIT Anniversary movie". Spoiler for Comparision video:
The following video is a seiyu joke on Minami Chiaki/Nagato Yuki (both have the same seiyu, Chihara Minori). Niconico link. Edit: Also a funny MAD; Chiaki throwing a HUGE fit (almost for 2 minutes) over Kana forgetting to prepare the rice cooker. A different version of Chiaki throwing a fit, niconico link only.
