in regards to seravee's backpack preventing the gn-x III from moving, if this is actually what happened instead of the pilot just freezing from fear, then maybe the backpack face is some sort of new trial system that can affect any gn drive related mobile suit instead of veda controlled suits.
but with the whole kataron and CB thing, looking for the "op" and the first ep, i dont think that everyone in the earth sphere federation agrees with a-laws actions. i suspected that sergei doesn't agree with them and kathy is even joining it to investigate. i think klaus believes that the CB just wants to eliminate a-laws' tyranny in respect to kataron and CB having "the same ideals". i really do see this becoming a very UC inspired version of wing. i mean you could say that the world is united, but there is actually disunity throughout the world as seen through kataron and a-laws and possibly members of the earth sphere federation's military. this is very similar to an oz split and white fang situation from wing. CB seems to be split as well, and i believe that the CB we know with the meisters will eventually act on their own to fix the world. funny as how a-laws' "peacekeeping" is not too far off from CB's original interventions in the 1st season. there seems to be shifts in ideologies taking place. then again i could be turning this into something different altogether and speaking gibberish. thoughts? |

Exia, while the technology is behind the new Ahead, it is still on par with the GN-XIII - managing to destroy its arm. One on one, with Setsuna piloting a perfect suit (w/ trans am), Exia would win against both GN-XIII and the Ahead mostly due to his piloting skills though.
A-laws seem to be the secret police of the new federation (most likely created 4 years ago and slowly increasing in power in those years), I feel a Gundam Wing-ish feel to this... also, the reason why there is a Kataron is due to the oppressive nature of the A-laws. Which in turn led the A-laws to a pre-emptive attack on the Kataron base where they were building older mecha to oppose the federation. After being captured, Saji was working in a slave camp somewhere in Proud (same colony as he was working before but probably different level), though I doubt it was 5G's since that would not be possible physically... A-laws managed to capture a ship heading there to rescue the people working as slaves and the A-laws wanted to test their new automatons and Ahead. It wasn't a prison break that made them use the automatons, they wanted to eliminate all evidence of their slave labour... Also, I don't think Sergei proposed to Soma... he is like her adopted father. Last edited by sgogeta4; 2008-10-06 at 17:01. |

It only managed to take off that GN-X III's arm because it had the element of surprise- namely, blazing upwards out of nowhere.
And Exia was incredibly outdated, and Barrack Zinin's no slouch as a pilot. Sure, with Exia fully restored, Setsuna MIGHT have offed that mook (Agara, was it?), but certainly not Zinin, and not Louise for plot purposes. |
