I know I should be used to it...but I'm still surprised seeing Kira and Lacus there. O_O

Personally, I find Kira to be a much better male character than Alto, and that his interaction with Lacus is what kept the two on the polls.

Surprisingly, the only thing that keep me from tearing and beating up my DVD player is, indeed, Kira (uhhh, as much as I am an Athrun fangirl too, I can't deny he was rather degenerated in DESTINY too). Well, to be honest, I was crying in joy when Kira hijacked the show. No, really.

Anyway, anyone got an info about April's Newtype? I swear a certain SF4 lover mentioned about it having been published by this time

To be honest, I stopped watching the first season of Gundam Seed around the middle, because I was getting completely turned off by the general state of wangst in that show. So I guess I never got to see how Kira evolved from being a whiny Shinji-like bitch to be a better character.

Well, lets just say that Kira never becomes anywhere near as awesome as Amuro Rey or any of the UC Newtype mains. What really gets me about him is how he just disables his enemies, which lets them be recovered, their suit repaired, and then they can get back to killing more people. I like Kira less than I like Alto, never mind some of his fellow Gundam leads.

To be honest, I never understood why Alto is so disliked by many people. He actually is one of my favorite male characters, because a.) he is not emo; b.) he gets stuff done and c.) he is loyal and reliable to a fault.

He may not be the most expressive guy and his constant yelling in combat goes on my nerves somewhat, but I must say he really brings it in the parts I care about.

It may be my advancing age, but emo teenagers really go on my nerves by now. I prefer characters who, if they have a problem, deal with it, instead of whining endlessly about it.

Haruhi hype is in full swing.... imagine if the rerun is fake and it's really season 2... gonna be #1 for the next 5-6 months... if it is s2 Yuki gonna lock that top spot down since s2 material is Yuki centric. Ranka gonna slide out next month until the movie or next big Macross feature.. Marina aint gonna hang around (please shoot down her shuttle Ali)

Who was it that said Sheryl would tank in the rankings soon after MF ended? Yeah right.

Don't worry I bet Kira and Lacus will pop back up soon. People want to hate, but I can't imagine any of the Gundam 00 characters being on that list in 6 years. Maybe Setsuna or Tieria...

Hmm, another character I'd like to see within the top 3 is actually Nagisa from Clannad...

The game is one thing, the anime brought her to life.
