Well, he DID get some facetime in Welkin's photos...

And yeah, lots of stuff from the game got cut out of this episode. Stuff that was really interesting. That's why this version felt really rushed. Maybe they'll go back and explain it later on... Makes me wonder how they're going to tie up the loose ends now, though. (Will they have the strength to follow the game's basic plot?)

wow, watching alicia and selvaria duke it out lets me overlook all the filler episodes. it was nice to see how the relationship between max and selvaria developed in greater detail than the game. however, i hope they dont leave out the story behind the darcsens and the valkyrians.

The animation... It has been a while (rather, first time for this anime?) since it moved so much... Though the one scene where Alicia spun on the ground was funny for some reason.

It was a pretty good episode. A lot of movement...
Though the explosion thing... Ehh~ All of a sudden, no? It was nice that Damon finally left the world and all though... Still... Eh~... Selvaria wasn't exactly a great character, so not sad about her death though. (-_-)
Why was Maximillion at that place anyways?
The revelation that the princess wasn't a valkyrian made sense though... Since the shield and lance never reacted to her.

At first, I mistook Welkin for Faldio during the scene where he talks to Cordelia... I was wondering what he was doing during this whole cheat battle/war(?)... I'm sure he'll appear in the epilogue though... Hopefully.

For me this episode is just bad,

it really change the character of maximillien (he is not someone who shot one of his officer without a good reason.) He is also not someone who lose his calm when he learn that Cordelia is a Darcsen.

The Wig tricks is just really bad, she wear a hat in the episode 10, why wearing a hat hiding her hair and a Wig.

And she didn't lose her Wig even wich all the event during the episode 10 (It's possible, I use wig in spectacle, so I know it).

It's just a cheap trick to hide an error of the script writer.

And the episode skip too much thing to be good (the Jeager Battle, Alicia charging the Marmota, the Fate of Borg

I'll give it, 6/10 only for the good animation, it's just a basic shonen with too many plot holes (as Code Geass).

Damn it was great to see Damon eat nuke and be reduced to ash like that, certainly does wonders to lift my spirit but then again at the cost of Selvaria was just too much...whaaaaaa and another one of my favourite characters dies this week ;____;

And come on Maxi...I don't believe you won't even shed a tear...has he even like Selvaria or has he been treating her like a loyal tool all this time? (pokes game players).

well.. this episode seems to be heading on the right direction instead of all those unnecessary side trips.

cant make any real comment until I see the Sub version.

btw any Japanese speaker keeping up with their forum. If so, what are they saying about the VC anime version? just curious!

This episode deserves my highest Fabio rating since it's existence a couple episodes ago.

Pros
1)Better pacing
2)More action less moping around.

Cons
1)Damon died..... (Made an avatar of him just in case anyone wants to pay tribute.)

2)No Fabio appearance
3)Cheesy fight scene.

Just I as said 'a simple curiosity'. I am very curious as to how the cultural difference would differ in the out look of the Anime. If there is any.

You mean like how the people that actually like this series constantly pat themselves on the back, or how fans and anti-fans of any series do this all the time?

Seriously, what is this precious little world some people live in. Have you never dispassionately observed people's comments on a series you neither enjoyed nor disliked before? It's not new, it's not confined to this series, and heck, it's not even confined to fandom of types of media.
