Didn't bother reading all the posts since I'm low on time right now, but who wants to bet that Shinji will take Hiyori's body up to Orihime and she heals her back? (Unless Orihime and Hacchi both die as well, in which case the dragonball effect will disappear from the series:O)

It's about time people started dying, but i will hold my breath on all of this. Still, Gin actually did something. Judging from the reactions I believe that this has the potential to be legit.

hiyori has been the whipping boy ever since her introduction.
her mother figure/captain 'abandons' her.
an old friend attacks her in the maggots nest (though she turned that one around pretty quick).
she gets half replaced by a prisoner (mayuri).
she gets her ass kicked by hollow kensei.
she gets slashed by tousen when she resists her hollow.
she gets choked out by hollow ichigo.
she gets stuck babysitting hitsugaya (just kidding

maybe).
and now she gets cut in half by gin.

Hiyori has been bitchy and annoying ever since her introduction. I absolutely can't stand girls who act like her in real life, and I think its great that she is finally 'moving on.'

I hope she dies to, but i think killing a character like her would be too easy. KT is likely to have Orihime save the day. she's just fodder for aizen's power estimate, and an "unfocused" or "not serious" element that needed to be removed for the real battle to begin.

That has to be some kind of mistake and if it's not I really hope she dies we need some mayhem on this manga. Why is Shinji crying for Ichigo isn't he way stronger than him, plus even if he got there Ichigo doesn't even stand a chance against the big three which are Gin, Tousen and especially Aizen. I guess he needs Orihime's bullshit power about rejecting and bringing things back to normal.

Id rather Hiyori not be the first good charector to die, but at least there's a chance one of them will die. Still, it would be stupid if ichigo magically popped up. We still don't know what happened to Yammy and the others.
