If I want a show to have sequels... I generally hope that J.C Staff or SHAFT animate them since they seem to be the two studios who keep churning out the sequels from manga/ln adaptions. So I would say this is going to be 26 episodes with more seasons to come when needed. J.C Staff's track record speaks for itself...
ZnT - 3 series Shana - 2 series, movie, OVA and a 3rd series to come Index - 1 series + Railgun spinoff Nodame - 2 series and a 3rd and final series starting next season. Honey & Clover - 2 series. I expect another Hayate series eventually as well if it's worth them doing it. Anyway... is there a good point in the manga to use as a season one finale? I've only read two volumes so I wouldn't know.. |

^ Don't leave out Studio DEEN, they're really sequel friendly too. J.C staff and DEEN would make a sequel if the anime sold more then 5k, which is the break even point for an average anime.
With Bakuman being fairly popular, I would think Jump would try and make it run as long as possible. So a slower pace isn't surprising. But I have no idea where they can have a good ending, there isn't any specific arcs like typical long running shounen.

They could do an opening that got nothing to with the anime itself. Like Kannagi's opening was about Nagi being an idol or Genshiken 2nd season opening mocking a mech opening. I'm thinking along the lines of the Bakuman's characters in an alternative universe, where they're in a typical shounen battle manga universe. At the end of the opening they can show it was only them drawing the manga.

Atsushi Abe will be voicing Moritaka Mashiro and Satoshi Hino will be voicing Akito Takagi, as revealed during TAF 2010.

PLEASE tell me they're keeping Kana-chan...T^T
I'm not complaining about FukuJun being replaced, he didn't sound quite right with the vomic/voice drama. I some how wanted Miyano Mamoru to play Takagi, possibly because Mamo-chan tend to play alot of blonde characters. I'm sure Satoshi Hino would do a good job.

服部哲:利根健太郎 - maybe it's 利根健太朗? Because I can't find anything relevant about 利根健太郎.
Was a bit late, damn it I love this cast. Eiji is voiced by Usui while Iwase by Misaki from Kaicho wa maid-sama at the same time Aoki is voiced by Saber while Fukuda by Archer - made my day. Nothing to add

As for Tone Kentarou, you're probably right. The Kanji are still pronounced the same either way, I think...

Fukuda's voice and Hattori also, voiced by Komuro and Hirano from Highschool of the Dead. Eiji's voice will be a Takumi from Mayoi Neko Overrun! + Leicester from Shukufuku no Campanella. The girl when Sayuri Yahagi can voice is also as Haruna from To Love-ru and Noa from the upcoming MM!. Except Fukuda and Hattori, the voice will be too moe. |
