Wasn't planning on watching this episode,until I heard there was a new op and ed.

The op was meh to the maximum, I turned the ending off when Hilda started to dance...

I am disappointed once again Studio Pierrot!

The OP sucked donkey balls. The ED was indeed brilliant however. The ED's design looks very familiar... Umetsu Yasuomi?

The actual episode was pretty bad, and it doesn't look next week's episode is going to be any better. I'll probably drop this anime soon. It'll depend on the amount of spring series I'll pick up.

Um, the EDing just screams OOC for almost every character in it. It is like someone swapped out the badass Hilda and Aoi's personalities with some bubbly/happy go lucky idiots.

New Opening was too cheery as well, it really gives me the impression they are trying to push an aspect of the show they shouldn't be. I liked the first one a lot more.

The new OP is lackluster at best.
The new ED is ... disturbing. So much nice animation for something so much out of the characters. Maybe it was a reference to the "happy dance" the manga hinted about for comedy sake. But still...

Himekawa is a fun guy.
But this episode has half-missed the point. I don't think he would lower himself to such basic thinking tactics. And he's a better brawler than that (stronger than Kanzaki, who was sending mooks through walls).

Is it me or Beelzebub is going the same way as Reborn?..
Lots of pointless fillers between redondant fights.

Are they doing TWGOK's mistake, slowing the pace despite having lots of chapters to animate?

I think the new ED animation was taken from Furichi's imagination. Except the cameos by Oga, of course.

It's basically the typical long JUMP adaptation treatment.

Plus there may be a lot of chapters, though they'd be animated rather fast. Adding in fillers in the best way to make sure this adaptation is a long running one.

Can't get anything past Baby Beel, though Himekawa in that costume was ridiculous. A little random how Kanzaki showed up at the end but found it funny. Furuichi was his funny self. His delusions made Hilda quiver. His exchange with Alain was great, especially when Alain saved the day. That lunch lady is tough. __________________ My Anime List
