So as I mentioned in the SBS thread, there was a special book contained in the latest SJ issue that various content.... some of that content in question being some concept sketches for this movie! And so, I shall post them here:
Spoiler:
As you can see, some of them we've seen before (like Aokiji, for instance), but I think most of them are new so far. And I gotta say once again that Z looks badass (he actually reminds me of Jozu appearance-wise in these sketches). Once again, it's unfortunate that a guy with such a cool design is only restricted to a movie appearance, but alas, it is what it is. In any case, I'll post more info once it's available. |

Here's post-skip Kizaru's appearance:
http://images.saiyanisland.com/showp...hp?photo=10490 Even though he didn't undergo much changes wardrobe-wise, I like this look better. And it appears that Kizaru is even more skilled now than he was 2 years ago, which essentially means he's gotten even stronger. Full source: http://www.saiyanisland.com/2012/08/...-kizaru-scans/

....Huh. Kizaru really doesn't look much different at all (I was at least hoping he'd have that hat....). But hey, at least it's cool to know that he's apparently even stronger now than he was around the time of the war! Sure will be sweet to see him in action in the current timeline.....

Yeah, that's Ein/Ain, one of Z's subordinates. We talked about her a little bit on the previous page, so go check that out for more info. |

Now that both Aokiji and Kizaru will be featured in this film, I can't help but feel that Akainu will also make an appearance. However, unlike the former two, I don't think we'll see him get involved in the affairs of this story. But I can picture seeing him in his office mandating an order to someone at the very end of the movie (either before the credits or after). It seems only fitting now that we've seen the post-skip appearances of Aokiji and Kizaru.

^I agree, post-skip Akainu almost seems to be a certainty, as well. Heck, maybe Oda will even show post-skip Garp and Sengoku. After all, even though they retired from their positions, they did both tell Kong that they would stick with the marines in light of these new, chaotic times.....

Then again, I still think Taylor Swift "borrowed" the chorus from that opening song in Gintama, so maybe it's not so farfetched after all
