Meh, chocobo is always the same in every incarnation, but gilgamesh and cid is always different in every ff incarnation (okay, cid is always a pilot, but gilgamesh is always vastly different). Chocobo is definitely in though, there's been no FF without chocobo that I have ever played(from FF 3)

Isn't Gilgamesh the only character who stays the same no matter where he is, because he broke the fourth wall and is now a dimensional traveller?

Hajime Tabata co-directing this is quite a nice surprise. His expertise on Action RPGs should be put to use quite well. Possible PC port is great too, should be relative easy to do since FFXV is being made with Directx 11.

Well we watched that blonde fellow shooting guys from the third person perspective. So it would have been assumed that you could switch characters. Nice to see it confirmed.

And man, Noctis really remind me of Saizo Kirigakure for some reason...

They still didn't confirm characters besides the ones from the Lucis Family. It also looks like Square has been watching horror movies because Noctis' curse reminds me to that.

It's not a paid console exclusive so it really doesn't matter at this point. It's going to be up to Square Enix whether they want to spend the development time to make a PC port.

Speaking of which... I wonder if Sony's going to get any 'consolations' for Square Enix pulling the exclusivity of XV from the Playstation console?

You mean Sony getting some sort benefit from Square Enix for not being PS4 exclusive? I m pretty sure it doesn't work that way unless they have a long term contract.

The previous FFXIII deal was to retain exclusivity to the PS3 platform in Japan region only and with both future console being region free, that's not going to work anyway for PS4 and Xbox One.

I don't know how to say this but the main gang is just... too black. I liked the white shirt in the earlier version, kinda breaks the ''man in black'' feel.

Yeah, it kind of makes the outfits too montone. At first I thought the all black clothes were just civilian clothes and that Noctis would wear the other suit for battles. I liked the beta because it was the simplest thing Nomura came up with.

I actually like the unification of their outfits. It looks kind of formal and still has that rebellious feeling.
