Agreed ... the manga itself is barely beginning, but I can look forward to other chapters at the very least. :\

Finished watching this series! Man, this hidden gem turned out to be good thanks to J.C.Staff, and I enjoyed it!

continue or not? wish it would..

Niways that last clock shot is quite a bad foreshadowing since the # 4 is bad luck for the Japanese people. 4 is read as SHI (YON is the newer reading), similar to shi- of shinu meaning to die. Especially since it was shown while Shiba was doing his monologue saying " But I will always be with you" >.< ma... with how the ticket works I guess they would run into that problem inevitably in the future.

Rurumo is just so damn cute

Err, wrong. The manga has had two sequels already: Makai-hen/Underworld Story and After-School Witches.

If you want spoilers to Makai-hen, just give me a PM. I don't have copies of After-School Witches, as the raws aren't available as far as I could see.

Sorry about the mixup ... I meant the Eng tl specifically as contrasted with the source material (since I can't read any other language than English unfortunately).

Though I guess even there there could be lots available I do not know of.

Like I said, anyone interested in what's supposed to happen, just give me a PM.

Suffice to say that I'm not surprised that JC Staff decided to end it this way.

Ep 12

Almost forgot.

A nice anime-original ending (thanks for the pm Myssa Rei) to an excellent and enjoyable series.

Agreed that it will be pretty unlikely for another season, but for what we were able to get I am very grateful.

Excellent work to all involved in it.

I haven't read the manga too far so I wasn't sure what to think of this. The finale was cute I guess? Felt a bit rushed though. Yet, Rurumo did look cute in that kimono I guess.

Darn, going to miss this one. Really I'm not surprised they decided to avoid trying to resolve the whole thing in one episode, just have another really nice one. It certainly works as well, one of those chances for Kouta to kind of reflect in the sense that he's really struggling to remember.

Just very much the kind of episode you'd expect from these characters. Kouta doing something awesome like trying to work to get that kimono for Rurumo and Rurumo just being an adorable character. I liked the touches at the end that showed how these two really did feel about each other. Maybe more than what they would likely be at this point, but since it's ending I appreciate pushing things a little.

One of those great surprises. Too bad it had to end .

What a nice refreshing series. The romance was never in your face, but still always consistent. Even with Kouta's pervy antics it never felt over the top, or maybe the niceness of everything else just made me "forget about it". Rurumo was really adorable, but I also thought Chiro was as well. I really liked the voice her VA used. That ending felt a bit bitter sweet and the position in which the clocked ended off the episode definitely seemed to be a foretelling of possible things to come. Sadly, we probably won't get a second season, but I won't complain if we do.

So apparently they've started doing more fan translation for the manga... it's now up to chapter 6... (instead of just chapter one) just in case anyone wished they could see/read more of the plot.
