First
Try checking back the battery or is there a switch ...

Second...
Why dont try talking back to Haro this ...
1.~Konichiwa~
2.~haro~
3.~Haro.... Activate self destruct mode~(j/k only but might be worth a try)
its the most basic command for jap talking toys i guess

Third
Is it realy meant to talk ,are you sure were not rip off

I know there was a remote control haro, but I don't ever recall a talking haro.

So why do people fight, anyway?
Perhaps the meaning of existence lies within their will to fight.
People feel a sense of accomplishment through battle.
And it’s also a fact that the ones actually fighting are never perceived as being tainted.

Scan the instruction sheet. Maybe someone can read enough of it to help you out.

If it is awake just knock on his head, on the table or
wave your hand in front of him, a sensor inside haro will pick up the vibration,
then he either swings around or makes a strange noise.

Of course you can set him up as well, meaning calibrating the time
and the alarm.
If you want to know the time press, just the button on his head.
And if you want him to shut up, keep the top button pressed
till he makes brrrububububabupbup and one of his led eye lights up.

I think i posted a link to an instruction on here few months back,
maybe use to search to see if you can find it.
unfortuneately i haven't got the link anymore.

Btw anyone is getting one of those music box Haros ?
Hlj isn't taking any pre-orders abymore ;_;

Oh, so it works something like a Furby? That's cool. I'm quite intrigued now...

Scan the instruction sheet, and then someone on the forum may be able to read it. I said that before, and it's still your best shot. Me with my relatively meagre kanji knowledge might be a bit baffled, but there are lots of people who know lots of Japanese on these forums.

Alright, I have the scans of both sides of the instruction sheet. Please help if you know what it says!~

One of the biggest questions I have is why doesn't it move. I had it on for like 3 hours and it makes all different noises but it never flaps it's ears or rock from side to side. So I'm hoping its not broken or something. Another thing is, I can't even keep it's ears closed. You push the ears down and it'll come back up. I really hope it isn't broken...

Setting up the time (prettty sure) you need to hold C button to hear "jikan wa" and then hit A button for morning or afternoon. After selecting that click on C and hear "jikan wa" and hit A for hours- 1-12. Hitting C again will ask "hon wa" and you select the minutes A being the 10s and B being digits. pressing C will have it make a weird sound and flapp its ears and light up the eyes.

To reset you need to press and hold that small button (d) till haro starts moving and flapping again. Alarm I think you needed to hold C and A together till it asks you "jikan wa" again.

My question is how do you make Haro say different things? The picture has many sayings coming out of haro and I dont know how to activate them at all. It moves or making noise through noise sensing-i.e. closing door, loud music/sound (mine is on top of tv). Sometimes it just makes noise for no reason. It turns off at 9pm.
If anyone knows how to make it say other things please tell me!!!
