I really don't know what happened with the franchise considering Funimation grabbed the movie and it appear to do well, so I hope this movie is also screened in the English regions and or dubbed.

By the way, the movie is being written by Ubataka and Fukami. While the former has the bad reputation for leading season 2, Fukami has been writing Psycho-Pass with Urobuchi since season 1.
About how strong is the series without Urobuchi is something that made think a lot since I think Urobuchi's Kogami is too different from Fukami's Kogami. Based on interviews of season 1 and the movie by Urobuchi, he seems to dislike the protagonist and enjoy Makishima far more. In a phamplet for the movie he even calls Kogami a sore loser when comparing him with Makishima's ways and why he will never be like him. That's not even mentioning how in the first movie Kogami suffers one of the most painful tortures ever. Fukami on the other hand seems to enjoy Kogami's character more. For the movie, he wrote a novelization which expands more on Kogami's better scenes with Tsunemori and Ginoza in contrast to the dark tone of the movie. Fukami also wrote the third Sinners of the System where Kogami is still working as a mercenary but his character is seen on a better light than Makishima's shadow as he decides to return to his world.

There was another poster with focus on Atsushi Shindo, Arata's dad. Was it confirmed that Atsushi became part of the system back in First Inspector? Might explain how Arata already knew.

For North American fans, Psycho-pass Providence will be shown on July. It will be both English subtitled and English dubbed.

The movie will be released overseas this month. Crunchyroll has dubbed the recap video of the first two seasons, the 2015 movie, the third System of the Sinners movie, and a bit of the third season. They also had the trailer of the Providence movie at the end.

Really liked it. They patched most of the gaps between the previous movies and S3 (not all of them but we got the answer on the main question and a few more). I doubt we'll see more PP in the nearest future.
If not, we were left with a pretty good final last season. If yes - I'm all in.
