theres a raw on you tube.

rukia's release was highly unimpressive but that might just be because i saw it before in the bleachi movie. overall animation wasnt so great, i expected some more action between droy-rukia and some good dying animation for droy. ( angoingizing scream before his body disintegrates in black cloud). why arent they prologing these fights!

gantz deflecting renji aizen style was nice(youd expect a long fight right?).

rolf on the shinigami cup even though i didnt understand 3 words of it.

Love the music in this episode, gave me chills down my now-turned giggly girl spine- its that fitting and good

even the weekly summaries that we've seen a lot sounded and felt fresh when they finally decided to use On the Precipice to Defeat- perfect.

Does anyone aside from me found some of the dialogue parts unnecessary, vexing, and substracting from the anticipated excitement that was being expected from this episode two deliver?

Spoiler:

I have not read the manga from chapters 183-244, but several parts from this episode salvaged the excitement and thrill of the goosebumps I was getting in anticipation.

Spoiler:

One last thing that disappointed me was on how weak D-Roy was after going down with only one shot from Rukia. However, I also think that defeat served for both the fight from escalating into a mass destruction zone and to showcase how Rukia can literally pawn in action once her full powers came back.

i also found it very odd that chad was too weak but suddenly rukia pulls out her sword and has some incredible strength. is this the same event as in the manga?

i would think that guy was not defeated but might be back? story line has been real interesting up to this point, but now it seems to have gone off on a strange tangent. where is the smiley face boy? i like him. the vazhl guy or whatever they are called.

I am blown away Sode no Shirayuki looks awesome

It looks really neat animated the diameter of her Ice Circle is huge . Yeah the arrancar theme is really sweet but I think would have been better if it was kept for Ulqi only . I identify that theme with Ulqi

Wow that episode was terrible.
Hardly even worth watching. The entire epsisode could have been done in 3 minutes. Three, boring minutes. HUGE let down considering the incredible build up that ended the last episode.

Utter disappointment.

Yea. It's pretty close to the manga.

As chappy gikon pill explain rukia was pretty strong in the first place but Byakuya keep her from high rank to protect her.

First She had problems with her gigai sucking power. Then she was in this cell sucking more power. So we never see her real power, I skip the whole bount arc so I don't know what happen then but it's not very significant. Now it's the first time she is %100 healthy.

Also D-Roy was pretty weak as the other Arracar said. They said he was a failure.

As for the story don't worry, be patient. It's all good.

I realy like this episode. Chappy gikon got me laughing when she want to brake Ichigo arm.

As I said I skip the whole bount arc I love seeing Rukia back and releasing her sword was pretty cool

As for the pace. They have to slow down somewhere. If they fly through it fighting non-stop they going to catch up with the manga before the end of the season then what?

Nice episode. The pacing is alright. Sode no Shirayuki release is awesome. Rukia is the first person in the anime that fights without much BS. Release, shunpo, uses her skill and kill.

Those Benasse ( ?? ) ads are really lame the background track in unision is as though they are mourning somone >_< .

Keigo and Afro was hilarious especially how Afro runs away grunting . Keigo has replaced Kon as the comic releif which is a welcome change . Also its amusing to see how Ikaku bullies Keigo for no reason

I liked the episode, except for the "You're name/my name before you die" stuff. It seemed a bit too overplayed IMO.

Actually thats Samurai tradition . Samurai Fights in the true sesne were one on one . They started with ritualastic announcement of name and rank . There was a very good reason for that . When one samurai was slayed the winner would know who he has slayed also his importance in terms of rank . The winner got the bragging rights .

Though both these rituals one on one and name announcement backfired during the Mongol Invasion . Mongols attacked in herds also didnt bother to anounce their names . Japanese wer saved by a mysterious typhoon hence the name Kamikaze stuck. Kamikaze lit. Divine Wind In relation with the typoon which was veiwed as a blessing from Gods .

Naming oneself is a method among others. Strait to the point.

Then they don't have to invent dialog where name would be pronounce to know who's who.

So if we want to talk about them we can refere to name instead of the unnamed guy that fight this other guy

good episode overall. I agreed with thewanderer. The your name/my name stuffs is a lil overrated. I like how chappy can beat down ichigo sensely. I was hoping for higher pitch voice for chappy, but the current voice do the justice just fine. The fight with D-Roy was a lil short. I haven't bleach movie, but I like how they animated rukia's attack. I thought it was a light ray when i read the manga.....apparently it's ice tower thingy....

shinigami cup was awesome. I kinda get feeling that soi fong is a lesbian, but this Shinigami cup confirmed it. That would be good material for those of you doujin freaks.

Spoiler for episode 117: Dang Rukia was half bad, owned that guy fast. But then Grim showed up and everyone was like F ME! His voice is growing on me. Did Rukia say she was a Vice Captain before she got cut off? Poor Chad is getting left out! You would think since all those arrancars can eaily deflect sword attacks with their hands like nothing to be stronger than that. Rukia made that guy look bad, but I guess he was like the weakest one since he went after chad who had almost no spirit power left. He didn't even get to unseal his sword, guess he got to cocky and paid the price ~_~

Spoiler: Honestly, we could have done fine without Rukia's dialogue conversation reminiscing the events that transpired during the Bount Arc. And common sense dictates that talk do not exists in the manga, because the Bount was anime-only material. And, finally, Keigo's wishy-washy dialogue with the afro-Shinigami left me more grumpy because I do not want see more of what was happening with the further fights. I have not read the manga from chapters 183-244, but several parts from this episode salvaged the excitement and thrill of the goosebumps I was getting in anticipation. Spoiler: 1. Rukia unleashing the shikai of her Zanpakutou, Sode no Shirayuki, enjoyed a beautiful animation effect and liked much the use of the lighting and brilliance to deliver the fluorescent effect of her sword. I do not think that Rukia's fighting parts during the Bount arc substracted any anticipated thrill when we see her in this episode pulling out her full Shinigami powers into battle and her Zanpakutou, as Omni commented in his blog; well, that's my opinion. 2. Grimmjow! It was a simple but scary WTF!? moment when Rukia and Ichigo felt unexpectedly his overwhelming reiatsu as soon as both were rocked and shaken by the shockwave effect of the Arrancar's spiritual pressure. I think that specific scene was poignant to determine on our heroes that the power level between them and their new enemy is wide and way out of their league. 3. And my most favorite moment for this episode was witnessing the defiant Ikkaku gesturig beforehand the No. 13 Arrancar with his name before killing him. Again the 11th Division proves that it rules. The Shinigami guys there would go take on anyone that is a serious moth******** when it comes either to big power levels or commits the grievous mistake of underestimating them. It was funny that Ikkaku coerced Keigo to provide him a shelter for saving him of a near-death experience when the lad had no idea of the mess that came knocking on his feet. One last thing that disappointed me was on how weak D-Roy was after going down with only one shot from Rukia.
