Just got another idea: Ichika and Dan as unemployment space sailor because of Tabane's latest inventions: Space-jump Transport Gate and Infinite Stratos that could quantum transport. So, like all sailor would do, Ichika become pirate, while Dan go home for his family bistro... But unfortunately, he got dragged into his sister band: White Night, which is notorius for their customized ISes...

It was a glorious brand new day in a foreign land far from home.
The ever bright star in the blue sky is the only familiar sight to a young man named Nemo Hawkin as shielded his eyes from the blinding light while he walking out of the train station.

He felt like a new man inside, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. He can finally walk with his head held high.

“Having incom...I mean a Job sure is wonderful isn’t it?” Nemo noted to himself as he walk to the appointed place for his interview.

There was a saying, money can’t buy happiness but for Nemo, he recently discovered the fine print this infallible law: But life is most certainly miserable without any of it.

With his dwindling bank account and being blacklist by almost every single company in his homeland due to a bad run in with a female individual with serious superiority complex, he was sure glad that he took his friend’s advice of migrating to a country where English is.... less common.

Sadly, even in this new land, he could only manage to find a Job as a Janitor. It may not be glorious or in his field of interest but at least it is a DECENT job, it is not like he is robbing somebody or anything and most importantly, it pay well and money is kind of needed for plan C and D: “Survive long enough to find a greener grass” and “Let’s move to China for ‘vacation’.”

He most certainly has no plan to perform Plan Z (you-are-screwed-time-for-early-permanent-retirement) yet. But if even if he planned to do that, he will need a poison arrow, pepper spray, wasabi, lots of pens and a death note that say “Miss Dust did it!” Those things cost money and he does not have enough money to buy those 200 pens.

Nemo slapped himself for the negative thought. He may be a failure but he has yet to lose this game called life.

He looked at the buildings before him, his first step into a brand new world of unknown. What wait him was a complete mystery, all he had to do is to take a step forward.....

‘What could possibly go wrong?’

Nemo smirked, forgetting about the two important laws that governed the universe which he live in:

Murphy's Law and Never tempt fate

It may be a good new that he got a job but most unfortunate for him, his workplace is an all-girls school (which I am pretty sure everybody who visit this section should know where)

And he is a little gynophobic....

Well... Life is unexpected after all.

I skipped the opening part because as it is unrelated to this chapter.

Thanks to the new scene (Nemo going for his interview), I can use it to create a red herring to make people think they are reading another fanfic about male IS pilot.

Nemo can't pilot IS that is for certain.

If I were you, I might establish a kind of Dynamic Duo: Dragon (Ichika) and Phoenix (Nemo).

Yes.

You obviously never seen Gundam before.

Just think of it this way: How do you block beam fired from all directions? You will definitely get hit no matter what and from there, the unit slowly chip you away bit by bit.

Alternatively, used for finishing off multiple weakened opponents at once, which is probably the thinking behind Blue Tears specialized in taking out multiple opponent at once.

I know the basic idea behind Funnel and Bits. It is true, but not the only way - I mean "awesome", not "powerful". Remember that I write IS with the mindset of Kamen Rider and Megaman.

If you watched those show, you should know that Beam Spam is pretty awesome (imagine, slowly rip away enemies' hard-rock defenses) and can make others look awesome (via insane dodging skill).

I think what you means is powerful.

No matter how awesome bits are, the fact remains that Bits trade fire power for firing rate.... You can't exactly go 00-sword on anybody using Bits, You definitely don't see people being vaporize by bits alone.

Pah... But should we remember that Alaska Treaty? BITs itself is an anti-battalion weapon. Againts invidual enemy - not so good. Remember that giant pile of metal we call ZZ Gundam? It pretty much reduced Neo Zeon's remote control funnel MSes into ash.

Of course, Funnel in the hand of Amuro, Kira or Setsuna could be VERY scary!
