I agree. I can't imagine someone actually doing that short of having feelings for Mahiro, especially given that she wasn't even around when the situation was explained.

My thought is that he is so normal, the game completely took over him. In other words, everyone except Yoichi are abnormal in one way or another.

Bloody Valentine..... It's a pretty nice reference to Gundam Seed, and as for the fighters:

Nyaruko: Chun-Li (Street Figther)

Takao didn't even seem like she got shifted. Notice she never acted weird and even asked him what was up when Mahiro was panicking in the first part.

Anyway, I think Nyarko remembers

That smile just says 'I kissed Mahiro and I liked it'.

Also, when Yoichi revealed the 'current progress' with the girls (and Hasta) I could have swore there's some kind of reference there with the details but can't quite put my finger on it

Somehow, Mahiro being all "WHY WOULD ANYONE WORK HERE" about the restaurant cracked me up. Kuuko was great as always, but I wish we could have gotten more of her onee-sama game persona. The dissonance was maddening even if the reference was appropriate. gif pls of her abusing the call button at her table.

Nyarko screwing up her face to start singing was so great. All that dress up only to be rock-blocked by Mahiro. So much for her big debut.

Does it make me a simpleton that this many episodes in I still laugh whenever someone tells another character of the same gender that they want to make babies with them?

Another satisfying episode this week! I know I've been fully fulfilled when my heart feels warm and full and I just feel happy and overall great, when the ending starts (I love the ending). All the references, and fast paced switches between scenes (or scenarios) made this funny as hell! Yoichi in in-game mode made me laugh so much, it was just great. Now that Nyaruko's getting back into things I feel like the show automatically got better, like it was at the beginning. Looking forward to next week too!
