Didn't Ryuu slaughter the entire familia that was involved with her own getting wiped out? Can you really think that everyone in the enemy familia was puppy punting evil monsters? A lot of times the familia members don't have the options of refusing their God/Goddess's will when it comes to what the familia does. It's inevitable that Ryuu killed some innocent Adventurers whose only crime was being a part of the familia that destroyed Ryuu's.

It'd be something like Bell wiping out the entire Freya familia if they had killed Haruhime.

A bunch of them were assholes, sure, but he'd also be slaughtering the non-combatants because they happened to have the wrong god. Or people like Aisha who had been mind-raped into submission with no way to refuse.

According to Ryuu in LN5, she even killed craftsmen who made weapons for the members of the Familia who killed her Familia and it was these people who put up the bounty money. I don't think such things could be simply glossed over within the story. There's probably ways to attempt to resolve it - eg Ryuu can pay them compensation over time with her earnings from being an adventurer.

Of course, there's other ways this could play out. For example, maybe the person/people who framed Ryuu for the murders are actually related to the people Ryuu killed. If such a person/group has started committing crimes to get vengeance on Ryuu then bringing those crimes to light would make it easier for Ryuu herself to come out into the open.

Nothing is certain until it happens, but the probability of her leveling-up is very likely.

Ryuu's status hasn't been updated in over five years, which was before she went on her revenge killing spree.

While it might not have been the noblest of deeds, annihilating a Familia and their known associates should have earned her quite a large amount of Excelia.

With her basic abilities currently ranging from A to F, and with her dexterity and agility nearing S-rank, she is more than qualified for a level-up.

Factor in her heroic performances against the Black Goliath and in the War Game, not to mention her short battle against Asterius and the events of Ryuu Gaiden, and she is long overdue for a level-up.

Also, Bell doesn't have to be the same level as Ryuu to be stronger than her, due to his hidden stats, so delaying her induction into Hestia Familia until Bell reaches level 5 would be unnecessary.

^Bell also needs a sparring partner that won't annihilate him every time they lose focus in holding back. He'd be able to gain a lot of skills by learning them directly from Ryuu who is close to him in terms of stats. They'd be able to push each other to get stronger, at least until Bell inevitably surpasses her.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ryuu has done multiple things that would have individually earned her a level up. I suspect that her stats before her (presumed) level up will be quite interesting - she was at nearly 900 in dexterity and agility 5 years ago after all.

Well, Ryuu will be a big help definitely for not so well balanced Bell party.
Her skills and stats are pretty good and if she level up to lvl 5 with Bell, that will be cool. At least, that is what I wish for.
Plus fact that she is Best girl ofc :P

I think Ryuu joining in the next volume and becoming level 5 would be good timing. She'll be able to help Bell with his training for quite a while (he probably won't be hitting level 5 himself until volume 14-15), and probably more usefully she might be able to help with everyone's training. It would probably be useful to get everyone up to level 2 at least (though I suspect it'll take quite some time for Haruhime).

I do wonder the sudden influx of the xeno birth have something to do with jewel fetus that the Aiz's group deal with in the side story. With the side story deal with event of vol 8 of main story i wonder why vol 9 deal with xeno in their perspective or they will skip it like war game

Talking of Haruhime, what does everyone think about the grimoire that Aisha gave to her?

Hestia Familia is in dire need of a dedicated healer, and with Cassandra having joined Miach Familia, it is the perfect opportunity for them to gain one.

Will she be selfless as usual and give it to someone else or decide to finally become useful between her bouts of spammin Uchide no Kozuchi?

That being said, I still want her to learn kyūdō from Naaza or Mikoto for offensive purposes.

Fels first met the Xenos fifteen to sixteen years ago, so they aren't anything new.

With the Barbarian in Daedalus Street being their introduction into the series, followed shortly by Wiene's birth in volume VIII's epilogue, their appearance becoming increasingly more common is not surprising.

Whether it is due to some mysterious event or artifact, or simply to them being a convenient plot device remains to be seen.

Wherever Bell goes in the Dungeon, he is likely to find a strong, friendly, interesting and unique ally not affiliated with any Familia.

In the case of the more hostile ones, he gets to do what nobody has ever done before, which is to defeat a one of a kind, sentient, irregular monster, with a high level of intelligence and the ability to use advanced combat techniques, tactics and strategy.

Also, Hestia Familia having a small army at their disposal, waiting for them in the Xenos Village, is indeed quite convenient.

On the one hand, I've been hoping for Bell to get another spell for a while now. But, I do think Haruhime needs it more.

I'm torn on whether she should get an attack spell or a healing spell.

If I didn't think Ryuu would be coming on board shortly, I'd say healing spell. But a dedicated rearguard attack mage would do them wonders.

Mid battle healing isn't a thing in Danmachi, so Ryuu could work as a healer perfectly well. Ryuu's concurrent casting means that she could work as a vanguard mage.

That being said, I still want her to learn kyūdō from Naaza or Mikoto for offensive purposes.

I can see why you want that, but it would take entirely too long with too little benefit for that to happen. Better to leave archery to Lili.
