It's to separate Purple from the Hell Gate after she's turned into a big creature, Yurika, Clan, Kiriha and Maki fuse (colours: Orange, blue, indigo and green) and into the goddess, earth and air shakes etc.
Fires off green sphere: Vaporises many of its limbs.
It counter-attacks with fire, fires off orange sphere, blocks and goes through, blows creature's head off.
Purple is then floating phantom-like next to the gate.
Then fires off the Indigo where it returns to Maki's form in the air, wielding a huge sword which she puts her energy into letting out a wave which annihilates the creature, opening a path to Purple which Yurika, as she returns from blue follows and tries to get her to open her eyes.

in what state was she in? with or without memories?

She can punch out ghosts along with ripping through magic barriers with her bare hands.

Theia has several dress modes, it's modular, she uses red green and purple from what I remember, and in volume 21 has a holographic flag that's her family's and is yellow.

So it might just be Ruth's way of showing she's also Theia's knight, otherwise it mostly seems sensible just doesn't seem possible for certainty.
