In response to media queries, Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said it is aware of the attack plan and has been working with the Indonesian authorities since the discovery of the plot.

“Our security agencies have been coordinating closely with the Indonesian authorities since the discovery of this attack plot, to monitor the activities of the group and to apprehend those involved. We are grateful for the good cooperation by the Indonesian authorities and their actions to apprehend the group,” the ministry said.
Shit... I knew something was going to happen the closer we got to our National Day....

simple soviet rockets can be manufactured anywhere as long you can get materials like aluminum pipe and some sugar.

If terrorism is the goal then it doesn't have to be accurate. As long it hit anything even if it's warhead is a dud.

Heard around this. Detachment 88 made the arrest IIRC in the news.

Detachment 88 did on-point job as usual. But they still can’t find any rocket that the Batam Terrorist group intended to use.

Furthermore, it’s reported that the Batam group still can’t even make any rocket yet as they were still tutored by Bahrun Naim via the internet at that point. Maybe Detachment 88 caught these guys a bit too early . Not that people are complaining.

Yeah that seems to be the case. At first I was wondering what kind of rocket/missile it was as that's the detail they left out, but it looks like they never gotten that far in the first place.
