What a great episode, the entire fight was amazing, everyone was literally filled with fear until they looked at Crush charging by her own against the White Whale.

Wilhelm was a freaking badass this time and we got a nice piece of info about his past, how he ended on being Thearesia's husband, loved how they put those images just when the fight ended.

If there is something bad to say, they changed certain scene that was supposed to be here but at least White Fox showed the same in a different way (Rem/Subaru scene at the end)

Other than that scene, the episode was perfect on every way.

Not as exciting as the last episode but good regardless. This episode could have used an extra minute or two to fully express everything it wanted to say. Sometimes I loathe anime's ~24 minute format.

Regardless it was good and a fitting conclusion to the mid level boss. Lol. mid-level boss? In any series this would have been the battle against the archvillian's final form.

Very proud of what Wilheim accomplished this episode. I'm sure somewhere, Thearesia is proud too.

Rem also gets my praise this week along with Subaru for their bravery when fighting against the odd. Pretty good conclusion to this fight, got what I had expected.

Rem goes into "horny" mode in front of tons of people then declares to a giant whale that the only one who can sniff Subaru is her...

I KNEW that there couldn't be three whales! Great idea to actually squish it with the one thing bigger then it though.

That Wilhelm scene with the flashbacks was pretty much the highlight though. That was incredibly well done.

On to the Witch's Cult! Also Subaru, get over it, everyone's been hinting at it and I'm sure you've picked up on it too. Julius was trying to help you in his own way.

Edit: You know, now that I think of it, the Re:Zero world's version of environmentalists must be PISSED. What? YOU BLEW UP THE BIGGEST OLDEST TREE IN THE LAND!? TO KILL A SUPER RARE ENDANGERED GIANT WHALE!? ALSO NOW YOU'RE PARADING THE CARCASS INTO TOWN!? CRUSCH WE WILL STOP YOU FROM ASCENDING THE THRONE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

my god that touching moment where rem and subaru smile whilst touching foreheads (doesn't sound as touching when explained) had me in tears and yes this very well maybe the last time we see rem until like a epilogue episode.

Maybe it's just me but I tend to not care too much about side characters backstories and such albeit I find them meaningful just not as much as say a main characters...

Just gonna make that remxsubaru scene my wallpaper and yeah 5 more to go~

Now i'm actually curious to see if Subaru can really swallow his pride when talking to Julius..lol. Will he recede to his former self or will surprise us with his new improved attitude? I think it will be something in between. He will act nice but his thoughs will be full of hatred against Julius.

Nice idea using the giant tree against the whale. It's sad seeing such imressive landmark/symbol being destroyed but oh well, it was for a good cause anyway

People saying the anime changed some Rem and Subaru scene in this episode? Can you guys put in spoiler what happened in the LN? I'm curious!

Subaru was waaaayyyy too awesome in this episode. I love it.
I love everything about this episode 10/10.
SubaruxRem is eternal and is the true ending of this series confirmed.

Yeah I'm pleased I'm not alone with this endeavor of RemxSubaru being the ultimate pairing in this story, I mean it's just too beautiful for it to not come to the fruition.

Even Subaru's got to be adamant about Rem's obsession for him, heck I'd love to be on his side, then again maybe after what he's been through maybe not....

Crusch was pretty cool. Emilia's character position being pushed back more and more.

I really hope Subaru doesn't go dumbaru on Julius again, you were in the wrong that time man, admit it.

Man, if the previous episode was full of despair, then this one could be full of hope. Wilheim is so OP Platinum Games could make an action game about him

Also, Subaru once again "level up" I hope he doesn't get traumatized again.

The whole episode I just kept thinking that this can't be it .. That somehow they're gonna get fucked anyway. But they didn't. This isn't the Re;Zero I signed up for .

Good episode though but I'm not really sure how they're supposed to deal with the Witches Cult in the last three? episodes ..

Of course they won't. True to the spirit you signed up for it will end in an agonizing cliffhanger with lots of pain for Subaru.

There are still 4 chapters to go,so I highly doubt they (Subaru) will manage to end all of this w/o get fucked^3, and in the worst case they will get permanently fuckd, no return/rewind/jump.

5 episodes left but it will be extremely rushed and condensed. Am kind of expecting no more OPs and EDs.
