This year's 49th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine confirmed on Wednesday that Yoshitoki Ōima (A Silent Voice) will launch her new fantasy manga, Fumetsu no Anata e (To You, the Immortal), in the next issue on November 9.

Premise:

Kyū was abandoned alone on the surface. After wandering, Kyū finds a boy who lives in an isolated snowscape.

Chapter 1:

Interesting start so far, I like the chemistry between the boy and the wolf already as a way to express the relationship of man and animal. Johann seems like he has some human behavior in him as well which is rather interesting. The narrative so far used works well with the themes too.

First chapter seems to cover quite a bit with 70+ pages!

well, Gugu ate his own word, the old man seemingly scolded Gugu for what he did to Fushu last night. Took a while for me realized that i was under impression the old man was a jerk but turned out there was a message behind that.

God damn it, i hope everything turns out well, dont think iv wanted anyone else other than Gugu to have a happy ending. They better get saved in chapter 30

Gugu already raised his flag the moment he said "will you become me if i died?".
Glad that the flag didn't become real when he was just a kid like March, but then again, f*** you author and also thanks for giving Gugu the kiss he deserved.

The gugu arc really hit home, easily most emotional arc of any series i have read to date. its so sad ;(

Fushi finally left them. I wonder how the next stimulus is gonna affect him? He also might stay away from other people, in fear of getting them wrapped up with his problems.

Really glad Fushi could saved Bon although he missed to get a chance to obtain Bon ability to see dead people. With that ability Fushi can reunites with his dead companions once more.

The jump in genre for the author at first make me a little bit wary about the quality, but my fears are unfounded. It's really good. I wonder if March and Parona will become major characters for the rest of the series or just for the current arc
