None of the akatsuki, most naruto fans waited for years to see them develop in a story, instead they all get stepped on and kill by kids, fuuooking stupid. Atleast have some development before killing them ><

i agree. they always show them but not enogh that we kknow more about them. and for them to die so easily makes it seem that they are just pathetic. i think that it would be funny if they had got orochimaru to resurect them and some how the got back at all of them.

Too few people died, until recently.
Should've been name "Who should've died" (Even though I liked Rock Lee, his existence later on is pretty much insignificant. I would rather that he died. But then so would Gai...) For me, I really feel bad that he died Spoiler for manga:
I guess all good (and awesome) things must come to an end, eh? It would've been nice if a few of the Sound 5 had survived. Personally, I'd like Tayuya, or Kidoumaru. And none of the 5 Leaf Ninja died. >_> |

Other then the obvious, I would say Kidoumaru. Amazingly cool and felt insanely strong compared to the rest of the Sound 5. He totally deserved more attention then he got.
I dont get how Kimimaro got so much attention, really. He was just boring, cliché and unimaginative. Also, I dont see him ever defeating Kidoumaru in a 1v1 fight. |

The Akatsuki...
They shouldn't have died, because they just shouldn't have existed. Aside from their leaders(who each would have made impressive villains on their own), the lot of them bore the hell out of me. More than that, they stole some of Oro's thunder and made him look like a pansy. Diedara playing a part in making Orochimaru look like a pansy! Plus, these uninteresting bastards had the nerve to kill-off a great cast of potentially awesome characters: the jinchurichi. Hell, imagine how dynamic the storyline would have been with nine demon containers all with separate motives and perspectives, you'd never know who could be today's ally and tomorrow's adversary. Honestly we'd end up with a very One Piece storyline... ah, dare to dream. At any rate, the hell with them; they are the definition of a shadow organization and yet the plot doesn't seem to advance worth shit in all the time they spend "planning" because some idiot's getting himself killed off or making their "grand reveal" and everything needs to be re-negotiated! If I wanted a lesson on politics, I'd join the Senate. Forget not deserving death, they don't deserve mention as far as I'm concerned. Probably why Kishi's had them getting offed left and right since their introduction by a batch of rag-tag teenagers... not like that's suddenly gonna redeem him. |

i agree that more people should die in it but for whoever dies they need to vome up with better characters ( like maybe strongr) and the akutsuki shouldnt have had that many people die they should be seen as a really strong group that [U]could[U] thts what i think. ;]

I would like to say that my two favourite characters, Zabuza and Haku, should not have died, although their deaths made such a dramatic impact on the anime that I think their deaths should stay a part of the story.
Zabuza has always been my favourite but his death reflected a much more epic atmosphere onto the anime as he died for the sake of someone that he loved, despite being a cold-hearted assassin. |
