If the problem still persists, they would have shown a part of Nanoha struggling with her internal injury during episode 26, after the fight with Vivio. But no, there ain't anything like that. All I see is happy faces and everyone went on walking different paths of life.. |

I wouldn't call it safe yet though.
Everybody had happy faces at the 6 years time skip ending in A's, but it was until afterwards during the A's to StrikerS manga that we found out how she nearly died.

I had always gathered that the injury she had sustained wasn't directly due to magical overload, per se... I'd thought that it was simply the case that it slowed her down at a crucial moment and allowed that gadget to smack her.
Think about it like weight training for a boxer... it's important to do it so that you can develop strength, but it's also important to know when not to do it. If you go into a boxing match the day after you work out with your arms, you're going to be slow on your guard, and someone's going to sneak something through that you'd be able to defend under ordinary circumstances. The manga and anime made it clear that for lil' Nanoha, she did the equivalent of a heavy workout every day (hell, at first, just carrying around RH, that monster, was a heavy workout!) So it's not unreasonable that she might have overdone it before a mission. And with her being, well, unreasonably able to hold up under the strain for as long as she did, it also explains why the older, wiser folks didn't tell her to knock it off. She was so far outside of the "normal" training profile that there wasn't really any telling where her limits were. So lingering effects probably aren't an issue either, here. Nanoha in instructor mode isn't going to strain herself. (Hell, with the limiter up, it's arguable that she's not even capable of doing that.) Assuming that she's not constantly called away to handle one emergency after another, there should be plenty of time to rest up and recover. Of course, her normal physical resources are going to be unusually taxed by juggling work and family life, but she's probably okay there too. (Again, assuming Vivio doesn't later manifest her powers in acts of teenage rebellion! "I don't care, you're not going to that concert! Now get off that skyscraper. If I have to come up there..." |

I agree that her gross physical injuries were the work of the drone and only indirectly caused by the effects of her magic overuse, but the verdict that she might not be able to use magic again and the her struggle to rehabilitate have led me to suspect she might have suffered some sort of long term magical and/or nervous damage similar to what the Book inflicted on Hayate.

Really nice chapter overall, touching on everyone even just for a little bit. Hayate going gloomy over the possibility of Caro beating her, the discussion of who's stronger spreading to the entire RF6, Nanoha asking Subaru to ponder over her question as well as the mock battle-turned brawl of Nanoha versus Signum is quite the package. Vivio moments were well done too, with the part of Vivio viewing Nanoha's videos tying in nicely to her words in ep 25.
Thanks for the hard work of the AS-nano team for translating this for us again.

*scans through it* No new developments? Just a "everything is fine, happy days continue" chapter? It even ended the same way as the anime, with Spoiler for a:
To the end, they still aren't very interesting fellows, huh... *sigh* *dramatic turn* *goes back to Scaglietti* You're the only interesting fellow around this universe, huh... Who needs those lolis, cyborgs, haxxs, haxxs, haxxs, old men, and chibis. 4-Koma, etc. Stuff for laughs, probably. From the "anthology" comics I've seen so far, anyways.

Oh yeah, do you mind if we take your translation for Ch12 for our scanlation? If we ever get to do it... Guess the only thing left is to see how the canon 4koma holds up against all the others. |

A couple of people asked, and I offered to combine all StrikerS Manga releases I had so far. Sorry for being terribly late with this, but my current schedule has severely limited even my time to post here.
