But isnt Hayate suffering too...he is chained...he doesnt love Nagi but needs to stay at her side becouse he feels bad for her since Maria left. So he cant right now clear the misunderstanding, he cant get a proper girlfriend becouse of what he carries on his back...he cant move on with his own life like this. Nagi kinda did that to him with her self-proclaimed love, so yeah she needs to hear the truth and move on with her life.


Personaly it would be fine if Hayate left so we move on like 10years further to the day Nagi-Ruka promiesed to meet, and there we will see how all the characters ended up and with who.

I will always be on the Athena boat with Hina/Ruka sideboat.

Saw few spoilers for chapter 560 and there: nagi went missing, doesnt pick up phone either, Ayumu sunk her own ship for nagis favour saying that she doesnt see her reflection in hayates eyes anymore so she gives up and goes to her parents house for the winter-break...so yeah ayumu/hamster is out of the game....the biggest shock is that the company guy who wants to buy the mansion turns out to be Hayates father Shun...Hayate saw him said to Chiharu to stand aside and punched his own father to the face...here apperently chapter ends (all based on few spoiler images...like 3-5pages)

I hope that Hayate brings all out on his father...that they are crap people who should just die becouse they sold Athenas ring he gave to them for sakekeeping which turned out that they sold it...and how they sold their own child to mafia... seriously he should just throw all that on him and at the end say that if he has any honor he should kill himself or that he doesnt have parents as they died the day they sold him....and if he ever appears here again he will kill him himself.

So Athena, Hina, and now Ayumu sink their own ships 'cause that's the way it has to be. I wasn't an Ayumu shipper, but without even being able to read much of the text, seeing her crushed made me feel bad, even angry to a degree.

This is what sucks about Hata-sensei having a hard end date after he wasted so much stinking time. He can't end the harem in a meaningful way, so he has the girls just give up and have done. It is so out of character for all of the girls. Only Ruka had a decent send-off in my opinion.

And it appears that it is now Christmas Eve, so the rapid fast-forward continues. I swear, Hata-sensei's next manga (which I presume will be Ad Astra Per Aspera) better not have this need to just do gag humor just to do gag humor. I've been following Hayate the Combat Butler for years. I've put up with the gag stuff 'cause a lot of it was fun. But now the readers will pay the price for Hata-sensei wasting all that time and I fear we are in for an unsatisfactory ending. I'm not even sure the Nagi x Hayate shippers will be that satisfied even though they will almost surely get their wish.

Additional: So those who called that the sales guy was Hayate's father appear to have been right.

Basicly what's happening is that Nagi found out that Hayate doesnt love her and she is like "Liar Liar Liar" next act hayate is crying. nagi keeps crying and she opens the path!

Pretty much Nagi x Hayate confirmed with this

I am friend with jaded, the one of that post and translate the raws fastest but kinda "homemade". and we share same thought he just doesnt want to post here cause well.. he well... i'll just say he is tolerant

and no... i didnt mean hayate is inlove with her actually i think he is without realising and he will figure it out in the chapters ahead. actually these whole thing nagi being hurt cause of maria leaving and hayate showing that didnt love nagi was all Jaded theory literally he made this theory months ago and now 90% of it is real now the last part is where hayate realises of it mistake. understand the love it has for nagi and go save her

I still cant understand how badly blind all of you guys are about thinking there was NEVER a fucking hint about nagi x hayate. i mean there were severals and so many of them! jesus even hata said it on the manga mutiples times (not directly cause he needs to earn money you know) but he made it very clearl even with the ending of the last ova and hata's favourite characters are nagi and hayate. surely he will make his main character end bad right? like the one left behind? yeah sure

and this.. is the last piece of cake yet it is true that it is being rushed and it could use some more developement but you know what? its been 11 years or 12? its damn time to finish it and finally see some tears... if you know what i mean my dear friend

I would prefer a Maria ending.
After all , She is one who understand and help Hayate the most .
Plus , Hayate actually claim her to be the most beautiful Girl he ever met.
In the anime , The Narrator claimed how boys believe their crush to be the most beautiful girl.
