For someone who never watched the original Gundam SEED, can anyone comment on the improvements made in the HD Remaster? Are the changes worth watching the series on a week to week basis or should I just go ahead watch the original versions?

I've been watching the remasters as they've been released, but seeing as I haven't seen the originals I'm not sure how big the improvement is. I've got plenty of other shows to watch in the meantime so its not a huge deal; I've just been trying to catch up all the shows featured in Super Robot Wars Z2 before Saisei-Hen comes out and I don't wanna watch Destiny till I've finshed SEED.

If people want to watch HD remaster side by side with the original, there's this channel in youtube that uploads them.

So apparently episode 14 of the remaster is episode 15 of the original series plus the George Glenn story from episode 14 of the original series added before the second opening.
That's one episode down, one more to go. (They did say it's going to be 48 episodes, right?) Next episode is probably one of my favorite episodes in SEED. |

As someone who has watched the original version many times, I'd recommend watching both for yourself. The differences may be subtle to some, but for me their fantastic improvement to such a wonderful series. |

And speaking of music, I don't think I ever truly appreciated the second opening theme, but I like it even more now. And speaking of the second opening, there's more of that new Strike. Is it really called Perfect Strike? I like that name, if only because it makes a sensible English phrase, unlike Strike Freedom. |

Intersting episode, as in interesting as watching something I have watched before I guess growing older has made me more observant, I never noticed it a long time ago that Flay made all those expressions, it honestly made her seem more manipulative and opportunistic. Which maybe 1 to 2 years ago I may have been bitchy about it, but now somehow I feel the need to be sympathetic as the circumstance really brings the situation full circle. It is interesting as the moment Cagali appears again next we can see an instinctive bond between her and Kira.

I'm watching SEED remastered right now but I haven't watched SEED before so if someone could answer a question I'd greatly appreciate it because I'm a little confused. Is Lacus Clyne, like, autistic or something or is it Obfuscating Stupidity or what?
