Wow doesn't seem like too many various posters on this show (although thats to be expected i guess)
I am VAAAREEEEEEEEEYYYY late in comming to this show. I watched ep 1 long ago, but didn't know how to deal with it at the time so I dropped it (was way back when it premiered) Now I took a dive (so to speak) into ep 1 and like it a lot. According to a blog I read though, I shouldn't be expecting anything like GITS:SAC though, it seems very different in character for a densley detailed SF show, but I think that's why I like it. |

The show is not as hard as a "GITS" but has its good points.
I've also followed RD until episode 13 subbed by "The Metal" (later episodes) and in these later episodes, the director chooses to explore that futuristic world and the direct effects on the individual rather than establishing a straight plot around the lead characters. Hopefully and fortunately they'll eventually develop a plot in the final episodes, but that future doesn't seems anywhere near, judging for the fanbase and the success the anime's having in this community.

I'm still a bit confused about this series. I have watched episode 1 and 2 so far, it started off with the guy diving in the ocean, but then they show them playing around with some computer thing, is this a cyber world in their mind or is this in the ocean? It really doesn't make sense to me at all, the animation is excellent and I'm still trying to consider if i'll watch episode 3 or not.
don't get me wrong and all, i'll take some anime girls with meat on their bones, call me a chubby chaser but I don't think that's enough to keep me interested in a show unless I get an idea what's going on. |

chubby chaser. lol Ok, that was just funny. I wouldn't say that anyway. I like that the show shows girls with a bit more realistic proportions, rather then the typical idealized anime girls. It makes a nice change from the usual. And since they're still all attractive, I don't have a problem with them anyway.
Glad Ureshii has been releasing a bunch recently. I'd really like to catch the rest of this series. Please keep up the great work. |

The Metal just released a ep not too long ago.
I'm glad to see Ureshii subbing too, hopefully that'll mean even if one slows down the episodes will be subbed a little more consistantly. But with the density of the dialogue in this series I'm fully expecting it to take a while before it's done. Quality before Quantity |

Yeah, that man was Kushima. Apparantly he was having his artificial body maintained/repaired, so during that process, his brain was transferred over to another artificial body. The body he was using appears to be one he had made for Haru. I have to say the shot where you see Kushima's face tilted forward was rather creepy hehe.

Finally getting around to watching this again after a long hiatus. I simply couldn't stand waiting for the episodes. Glad its complete and I can watch the whole thing now.
Rewatching from the beginning and just finished watching Episode 9. Seeing that girl with Sota was kind of creepy. Like an earlier poster mentioned, I was thinking she was Sota and Minamo's Mom. So seeing them in bed like that... Moving on to episode 10! |
