My favorite songs are from Maison Ikkoku and Kimagure Orange. If I was to choose one, it would probably by the 2nd Kimagure Orange Road ending theme: Kanashii Haato wa Moete-iru (Sad Heart is Burning).
But KOR and Maison Ikkoku are full of great songs. Other stuff I really like: - Video Girl Ai ending theme (Ano hi ni... that song is very, very beautiful) - To Heart ending song - Touch first opening and first ending song - Soar High! Isami opening - Marmalade Boy opening song - Fushigi Yuugi opening song - Battle Athletes opening song - Saint Tail first ending song - Gundam Wing first ending song - Slam Dunk first opening and first ending songs - Nurse Angel Ririka opening - Evangelion opening song - Hime-chan's Ribbon 1st ending theme - VS Knight Lamune &40 opening - City Hunter first ending - an opening song of Crayon Shin-chan called Yume no END wa itsumomezamashi - Cutey Honey F ending song - Sakura Wars opening song - KareKano ending theme - Minky Momo 1st TV series 1st ending - Mahou Tsukai Sally opening (not really beautiful... but completely addictive) - Miracle Girls first opening and first ending - Nadia opening - Bewitching Nozomi (Nozomi Witches) opening and ending (absolutely great anime that someone shoud make a digital fansub of for the newer generations) - Slow Step ending (Slow Step is a great OVA based on the manga by Mitsuru Adachi) - Princess Nine opening - Wedding Peach opening All of those I could listen for a long, long time |

I guess I'll post in this mammoth of a topic. Fave OP? Ultra Relax from Kodomo no Omacha. I couldn't listen to it on end, but it has stood the passage of time. I'm afraid I have no real favorite ending themes, because anime songs are in and out as the series finishes. That, and my favorite songs are either not anime, classic american rock, occaisonal jpop, or japanese rock. But now that I think about it.. I have no real favorite songs.... I guess I'm really fickle...
I noticed allot of people here like classic OP or fairly new OP. Its quite interesting to see the gaps between generations of anime fans. |

Some new songs that I would like to add to my list of favorites or even to the top 5 favorites.
From the anime One Piece: - The current intro to the anime (see episode 80 or 81) - The current ending to the anime (see episode 80 or 81) |

My favorite song would have to be from Gundam Wing. If you haven't heard Last Impression by Two-Mix, you're definitely missing out. Some of her other great songs featured in Gundam Wing were Rhythm Emotion, Rhythm Generation, White Reflection, Endless Love, and Burning. She's a great Jpop artist. One worth checking out.

It's not hard for me at all.
Favourite intro is Escaflowne (Yakusoku wa Iranai), brings me to tears. Almost. At least if I'm tired after watching anime all night. I'm going to use it for romantic purposes this Valentine's day. Favourite outro is the first Naruto ending. It's compelling in it's own way. Also with the clever use of colors and images of Naruto and the butterfly it sets a somewhat different mood from most of the episodes. For me, it really keeps the whole series in perspective, balancing the character Naruto and making me care about him. Record of Lodoss War also has great music, overall. |

For ending themes I like there is the one of Chobits (the 2nd that is), Da Capo, Ultra Maniac, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and the ending theme of Chrno Crusade.
As for intro themes, the ultimate favorite is Gunslinger Girl: The light before we land. It's just way cool . I consider this one as my favorite song. |

The song from Di Gi Charat Natsuyasumi by Depurapyogebou. The cute Di Gi Charat songs are great but that one captures the weird creepy dark-lines-all-over-everything mood that the show is so damn good at.
Come to think of it it reminds me of Malaria! |
