For the briefest of of glimpses it seems an interesting Clannad cameo has been worked into tsundere anime Toradora, with the bakery you see above bearing none other than the name of 古河パン / Furukawa Pan, the very bakery managed by Clannad mainstay Nagisa Furukawa’s father.

Subtle stuff…

Regarding the DVD specials, i hope we see Taiga-tan sat on top of Ryuuji's head for most of it.

I've been stuck at Uni and trying to avoid anything major that could distract my studies.

I went home this weekend and downloaded ToraDora after watching a few nicovideos over the past few weeks since it's release.

I love it.

I now feel deprived now that I'm back at Uni.

Can not wait until Christmas so I can catch up and finish it off now (assuming it is 13 episodes?)

Taiga is adorable. I want one. Same with Minori.

Would it really be that big of a problem to watch one episode per week?

When you're trying to study an intercalated 3 year degree in one year, balancing rowing, socialising, cooking, school and whatever else gets a bit hectic. Anime is on the backburner for entertainment, there are other things I'd like to do at the moment.

So yeah, it is a bit of a problem. If I was a bit more organised and wasn't doing a second degree in tandem with Medicine, it wouldn't be a problem at all. But I'm not that organised, and I've got 1 years worth of material which I have to revise for exams over the next few weeks.

I also have a habit of watching the same episodes over and over again if I really like them. I really liked ToraDora. It'd be like quitting smoking if I had it here. Plus I like to binge watch shows.

I don't normally sound this grumpy. I'm just stressing

Yes less biased but lest say what if the anime is a really really bad and does not follow original source closely (like Zero No Tsukaima anime). You may decide that the original source is also bad even though it is not true

I know that some dropped ZnT without giving novels a try and that is sad considering that ZnT novels are much better than the anime.
Darknemo2000, ^^

I'm officially your groupie.... hehehehe joke joke

Beside Toradora! novels, I'm enjoying ZnT

Hey, since is a generic discussion thread about anything dealing with Toradora. I've found a MAD/AMV and posted on the Toradora! Music Videos thread. There is a hunting MAD video that I found and the song is so enchanting. The name is 【MAD】 『片想い』 大河→竜児, and I was trying to found what does the lyrics means, and the title. Based on the Video, it seems to centralized on what Taiga truly feels for Ryuuji.

Its seems that there are tons and tons of MADs/AMVs out there for Toradora! But the one that was so emotional moving is the one I mention above.

Soo...... hypothetically speaking, if Taiga says "I luv u " to Ryuuji, then says "I h8 u !!!", does that mean it cancels out?

Sure it does. That's what the very tsundere ending theme seems to suggest.

It depends on what criteria is important to you. Personally, I've been preferring qq subs because of the translation style. Paradym was doing decently until recently. Aero provides a lot of different formats.
My past experience with Anime Yoshi has been mixed -- haven't looked at theirs.

Toradora got a Urusei Yatsura reference too, but not in the same episode.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and mainly here to discuss Toradora! episodes.

There is this quote from the very beginning at Ep1:

Takasu Ryuuji:
"Everyone has something they have not seen before in this world.
Its very kind and sweet.
If they saw it, everyone would probably want it."

Taiga Aisaka:
"That is why the world hid the thing.
So people cannot easily obtain it."

Takasu Ryuuji:
"One day, someone will find it."

Taiga Aisaka:
"Only that one person will obtain it."

Both Taiga and Ryuuji:
"It is something like this..."

It seems pretty significant. I'm wondering (since I have not seen this being discussed on the forum), does this innocent little speech have implications on the future episodes, or even the ending of the anime series?

SPECULATIONZ:

My guess is that these words are said by Taiga and Ryuuji after the storyline of Toradora!, when they have experienced enough to have this sort of depth in their thoughts and words. I'm also speculating that whatever they're referring to, the "thing" should be love. If so, I believe the anime is suggesting from the start that Ryuuji and Taiga are destined to be lovers, even if they have different interests in the first place.

Can someone voice their opinion on this? I have never quite forgotten this quote ever since the first time I watched Toradora!, he he...

Aye, though that's not exactly how I would translate it.
It seems very much so that we're hearing the after-story (future) Ryuuji and Taiga provide a leading commentary on the events IN the story.

Its hopeful but very ambiguous -- written to lure you in, as it were. It provides no clue whatsoever on how the relationships end up
