I don't like how you don't count c.c..

C.C. could love him as much as kallen, she is just more calm and was even more desesperate about that till now (since she was thinking that lelouch hated her).

Post got mod'd, so I'll just put the pertinent part here.

I think Kallen fans (and, by a stretch, LuluKallen fans) have been in a constant meltdown since episode 19. While it isn't surprising that Sunrise is dragging her character development to the almost quite literal last minute, it really does get old fast. Beating the drama horse, really... it worked for 19-22, but 23-24 just show us that she's raging. I mean, yes, I totally understand that she's pissed off and feeling betrayed, but... the pacing for this is just not cool anymore.

Anyway, I agree; I don't think she lost her shot at all (I don't think anyone loses their shot in this show until they die, and even then they can miraculously come back!). They keep shoving a pissed off Kallen in our faces, hellbent that Lelouch needs to be killed in order for peace. If they don't have her find out about at least something, that'll be pretty crappy storytelling. Not to mention, a really awful way to ruin a character.

To be honest, I don't know what sort of solution I would find satisfactory for Kallen. That's why I say I wouldn't mind if it's tragic, as long as it's done well...

After seeing 24, I'm holding off on any guesses, bright ideas, or speculation. It's good(?) to be surprised once in a while!

So I'll just cross my fingers and hope they can pull it off (it = a satisfactory ending for the major players in this chess game). If they don't, whatever, it's not a big deal and life will go on. I'll be bitter about it for a little while, but eh, what can you do? If they do pull it off... huzzah! Sunrise will have redeemed itself very slightly for GSD.

Taniguchi is a very evil man, he is dragging her out on purpose.. Kallen's character will not end like this.. sigh ....am I the only who feels this way? Her key line has not been said yet.. Its just build up... he was evil when he made C.C lose her memories for 5 episodes, then BAM she got it back..

Actually, the one who holds the pen about writing the story is Okouchi.
