Ah, it's so good to see Hotaru return again this season. She's still the same as I remember before.

Personally, I like the style of the first season's OP song better but this new season's theme song is catchy too.

Hotaru and Saya-chan are back! Hell yeah! no idea who that woman with glasses is though? A secretary? Or maybe a mother of one of the four teens? Looks too young for that though then again all anime mothers looks too young to begin with.

still trying to get used to the new art style, the color palate used seems much darker compared to the 1st season.

Hotaru is still as crazy as ever. A shame the episodes are only half length.

Totally not a slow start from Hotaru.

And totally relatable dagashi this time.

Cheap foods mean that they can get away from making one thing out of another.
In the case of Big Katsu and Peperoncino, they imitated pork cutlet and spaghetti.
It reminded me of chips at home that tried to bring the taste of pork cracklings using green peas as an ingredient, and instant spaghetti. I personally didn't like the taste of instant spaghetti. It was too sweet. But maybe it was the point—it was made with younger kids in mind.

I was personally worried, but I think the short airtime was a good thing. At least the cast and the overall flow of the comedy seems intact.
