Hmm... I said it, and I got it. Juubei-chan and Juubei-san coexisted I guess my choice of nickname will stick, yellow eyes= Juubei-san.

And really now, Yoshi was never a bad guy. Did he just go tsundere though? "Hey Mune-guy, I'm back. But it's not like I'm doing this for you"

The uh...ending left much to be desired, I say. Although, Juubei is a star now. I lol'ed.

Now, wait a thousand years for Juubei to return!

The ending was full of bang and boom... and now, I don't really know what else there would be to the story if they had to continue it.

Jubei literally is gone, in both forms. I guess they could bring her back somehow, but the ending did not indicate that at all. It seems like Muneakira is alone in the end.

It really seemed like the end of the series for good.

This episode was epic. I wonder if we'll get full colour in the Blu Ray than just b&w? Though it was an interesting touch...

Omg they killed them off, totally did not expect this because I thought they would leave room for a 2nd season...?

Damn it, it will take a while before the novels arrive.

yeah, that was a great episode indeed. I'm still sad for Jubei, though.
Now I understand all the comments on 2ch/2chan marked as "BAD END" and such...

but, at least we got a very good ep, and lots of funny things like: Tsundere-Yoshihiko, kakeru-Juubei, more Naoe-goodness, and Gisen went completely crazy... my god... lol, I was expecting Gisen to go crazy but not to that extent...

yeah, I too don't see how they can continue with a 2nd season at this point. but, oh well, let's just hope for the better.

Certainly surprised to see Juubei die (both of them!). Chances of a second season are severely compromised. I should have totally seen the "fusion" coming, a shame it switched to black and white right after. Interesting artistic choice though.

The battle was kind of cool. A little too over the top for my tastes though, what with them flying around destroying houses and Juubei spamming Getsuga Tenshou. That reminds me, whatever happened to the opening scene of the series?

PS: Sometimes, I feel like the censorship makes things look dirtier than they really are. For example, what the hell was Gisen licking at ~3:45?

Maybe she only gets the pink eyeliner when she transforms in the novels. They changed the eye color in the anime to make the difference between the two Juubei more visible (although the voice was more than enough to differentiate them - props to Ao-chan again).

Spoiler for Hyakkaryouran Samurai Sentai 12 - Blood Feast and Blade Run:

What a show. I'm glad that, in the end, both Jubei were allowed to coexist in the final battle, and what a final battle it was. Overall, I really enjoyed this show. The characters were all lovable, the aesthetics were great, and I liked that it made use of a very small number of sets for an animated production well. Almost everything took place within the Dojo, yet the number of scenarios that came up and the development of the characters never really slowed. Plus, magical girl samurai. I can totally dig that concept.

Again, highly enjoyable.

Perhaps at the end, the "permanent" Juubei is the blue-eyed Juubei, but she gains the abilities of golden-eyed Juubei.

well i was pretty shocked that theyd kill off the main heroine, but they can still have a 2nd season since that main villain guy suddenly disappeared. Also when he sees that light at the end and smiles could mean they could just reincarnate jubei once again.

So Yoshihiko turns into a true general a resurrects Nia, so he's not bad anymore.

I like how both Jubei's were allowed to live in a fused form, the split eye color was a win, the battle with Gisen was awesome, i liked how it was all white vs black during the whole fight. So sad that they both died after being able to love together.

I guess that's the only way they could have ended it though if they didn't want to make a second season.

Overall i enjoyed the whole series

I usually get interest in that for these kind of series because of the discrepancy in storylines...

This seem like it can be longer there still so much more story that can be told but it was a good ending. Cant wait tell it comes out hope it gets dubbed

Visually the episode was excellent, and in addition had enough action for a finale. PLus I liked the B&W, though I think they kind of overdid it.

I did not like the fusion of Jubee's personalities; apart from being cheesy, it removes her most interesting character trait, but anyway, since she returned to where she came from, it's not a big deal, anyway

What sucked was that Gisen died, but there was no way around that either.

I really wanted more of Matabei, Hanzo, and Kanetsugu; but I am greatful that they managed to even show them do something ... though insignificant. Still though no Matabei episode (given the lack of plot-driven episodes) is inexcusable.

As for the repentant shogun and his resurrected samurai, it was a nice touch, but rushed and underdeveloped.

All in all, they could have done a lot more with the story, like actually having one, but obviously the team's focus was on visuals and style. As for the final episode, it was better, storywise, than the average of the series.

As for a sequel, since when is the story and/or character deaths relevant Jubee can fall from the sky again

Ja ja, a bittersweet end indeed. As I like to say, there was much to be desired, as it was rather sad to see them disappear off one by one, leaving Mune-guy all alone. Juubei-chan returned to whence she came.
