We all know that Production comities have to do more with any show not getting the sequel but the fact is the fact. At least I don't know any Brain's Base show except of natsume which got a sequel. Undependent to sales.

Brain's Base doesn't really have a good impression on me as a whole; some of their previous works were pretty uninspiring. Although, I don't see what much could go wrong with a comedy, especially because much of the impression's gonna be on execution. The visuals could be helpful in driving home the point but I'm honestly not expecting much.

Well facts are, most Brain's Base shows don't sell that well anyway, outside of DRR and Natsume. Yahari Ore looks like matching the sales level of Natsume though, so eventually it should get a look in at a sequel, assuming the ln author doesn't get writers block like haruhi's did.

Also worrying about the studio's lack of sequels is putting the cart before the horse, if this sells like shit, gives the manga no boost etc it's pointless anyway.

Spice and Wolf for example. It sold not outstanding but enough and not less than S1. And it gave some LN boost but no sequel too.

There are almost 4 novels worth of material that hasn't been animated yet, with 2 more upcoming before the end of year. That doesn't mean we are gonna get a season.

That Drama CD cast is fucking fantastic, so of course we won't get that and they'll use a bunch of idol-wannabe newbies instead.

Oh, and either Ryota Ohsaka or Takuya Eiguchi as the lead, of course.

Less. Ep. 13 and OVA adapted material from 2 additional volumes.

They already announced the drama cd cast is returning, and Eguchi is nowhere near being pushed as much as Ohsaka is.
