About Miyuki marry as 4th Clan next head: She could marry Ichijou or even Katsuto among others Heirs, if the other where be adopt by Yotsuba, meaning: one of the heirs need to leave the House from, cuz otherwise its merge and that will be a problem for many reasons.

I think arc 7 will be focus on 10 Clans, thier insides and the their "management" to weaken Yotsuba, about pairing I see Kyoko Fujibashi x Toshikazu Chiba, so far we dont know about Mayumi elder brothers?? could be target to marry with Miyuki.

So, I was talking about making a summary of Double Seven 3rd update in the magazine earlier... this stuff is a lot longer than I remember it to be >.<
Due to how fricking huge the summary has turned out to be on my end, despite not even a third of the way there done for the magazine update, I'm posting the summaries out one third at a time when I finish them. Expect them to be done in a matter of around a week, instead of a few days like I said earlier

Spoiler for Double 7 part 3 summary, 1st third:

Nakajyo Azusa (current student council president) and Isori Kei went to ask Shippou to be part of the student council, since he’s the freshmen representative and traditionally the freshmen rep joins the student council. Shippou turns Azusa’s offer down, saying he wants to focus on training himself, to be strong enough to rival the Ten Clans members. Azusa was disappointed, but didn’t press on the matter to Shippou’s surprise. He decides to leave instead of asking further, lest he be thought of as wanting to be on the council after all.

Azusa and Kei was the ones approaching Shippou wasn’t because Miyuki dislikes Shippou, nor was it because Tatsuya and Honoka have any opinions either way. All 3 of them was busy packing up the opening ceremony. 20 other non-council students are also helping out, this was non-negotiable for them. Previously all 20 was from 1st class students, but to encourage 2nd class students this year it’s chosen from both grades. 2-E, the Engineering class with both grades, are almost all here with 20 of 25 students present. Chiaki is also here, and despite Tatsuya’s worries he wasn’t attacked by her here, with Chiaki seemingly knows to not let her grudge interfere with her job.

Miyuki’s off dealing with politicians, this one a backer supporting mages. Mayumi eventually helped Miyuki out, after the guy started to have some lecherous gazes. In previous years he didn’t show these since it was Mayumi on the stage and he’s afraid of the Saegusa & Ten Clan name. If he knows Miyuki’s one of the Yotsuba he’d probably be even more scared. Mayumi introduced her sisters, Izumi and Kasumi. After the politician left, the twins are introduced to Miyuki. Izumi (泉美) got hit by ‘love at first sight’ with yuri tendencies at Miyuki – in her eyes Miyuki is even more beautiful than Kasumi (香澄) or even Mayumi, like a goddess and the ideal woman to become. It was after Kasumi poked at Izumi that Izumi realized she was staring. Izumi asked if she can call Miyuki ‘Sempai’, Miyuki agreed, and Izumi was moved to tears. Miyuki ignored the glistening of her eyes or how Izumi’s voice trembled, showing no sign of noticing. Both Kasumi and Mayumi noticed Izumi’s behaviour and thought something was wrong.

Izumi’s words and gaze became even more passionate, commenting how in-person Miyuki looked many times more beautiful than from the last time she saw her from afar in the audience stands, and she was thankful to be in the same school as Miyuki. By this point even Miyuki is wary of the amount of worshipping Izumi is showing. Mayumi was severely embarrassed at Izumi’s behaviour, and Kasumi, even knowing Izumi’s tendencies to go berserk like this, was stunned speechless at this scene. When things finally culminated to Izumi asking Miyuki to be her ‘Onee-sama’ (Flere821 note: with all that implies from the shoujo/yuri genre stories), Miyuki’s composure finally cracked. Mayumi exclaimed for Izumi to calm down and she’s the older sister not Miyuki. Despite Mayumi and Miyuki’s voice trembling at this outcome Izumi’s gaze remained as passionate as before focused on Miyuki. Kasumi had an expression of ‘That’s it, I don’t care anymore’ on her face and turned away from this spectacle.

Sakurai interrupted from the side, having snuck up without anyone noticing, and said it’s impossible for Izumi to become Miyuki’s imouto. However, Sakurai added it’s possible for Izumi to call Tatsuya ‘Onii-sama’ instead, if Tatsuya ends up marrying Mayumi. Then as an afterthought Sakurai asks Tatsuya, who finally arrived, asking if Tatsuya married Mayumi then would it be correct for Izumi to call Miyuki ‘Onee-sama’ after all, and at the same time Miyuki exclaimed at the scenario, showing her disapproval of him marrying Mayumi (or well, anyone really…). Before Tatsuya can reply in any way Kasumi cuts in, both verbally and physically, objecting loudly at Tatsuya marrying Mayumi and jumped in front of Mayumi to act as a barricade to protect Mayumi against Tatsuya. Izumi ended up trying to calm Kasumi down, all traces of her passion towards Miyuki shelved for now. Mayumi got a headache at what the twins are doing. Mayumi called out at Tatsuya, he responded and moved in close enough to hold a conversation. Kasumi glared at Tatsuya for coming this close to Mayumi, before letting out a cry like a cat with its tail stepped on and forced to bow by Mayumi. Mayumi apologised to Tatsuya and Miyuki for her sisters’ behaviour, thoroughly embarrassed. Tatsuya can relate, he’d be mortified as well if Miyuki acted like this. Both of the Shiba siblings accepted the apology and waved off the matter as unimportant, even Miyuki; she doesn’t care Kasumi was basically antagonistic towards Tatsuya (possibly because Kasumi is an ally in preventing Mayumi marrying Tatsuya). Mayumi felt Miyuki’s response was suspicious and ominous, but didn’t have the leisure to inquire into it right now. Mayumi ran off, dragging her sisters by their collar with those two objecting to the treatment.

Scene change, Tatsuya and his friends went to the café they frequent (Anneliese). The topic of Shippou declining to join the student council came up. The student council would have bad rep if no new student joins, and Miyuki mused if they should have Sakurai join the council. Sakurai stiffened at this proposal. Tatsuya instantly shot down Miyuki’s idea, saying that’s too cruel to Sakurai. Sakurai sighed in relief, and Miyuki dropped the topic with a smile – she was just messing with Sakurai. Tatsuya added due to the tradition of having the freshmen representative joining, the next candidates would be the 2nd or 3rd on the exams list. Shizuku asked who would those be, and Honoka replied without even looking at her machine it was the Saegusa twins. Izumi came 2nd, Kasumi came 3rd, and the point difference between the first 3 places was only a few points, and these three was far ahead of the 4th and below places. Mkihiko commented judging by the placing Izumi would be the next candidate, and Miyuki visibly showed signs of distaste at this outcome – she pegged Izumi as hard to handle after their previous meeting. Tatsuya commented ultimately it’s up to the council president to decide, and the candidate’s own preferences. It’s not certain he took Miyuki’s emotions into account at all when he made this reply.

A bit later, Tatsuya finished going to the toilet and was about to leave. Before he did so Mikihiko came in. Tatsuya thought this was just a coincidence, but Mikihiko called out to him before he left. He asked for a private chat, Tatsuya agreed, though he wants this to be quick so the girls won’t have any ideas about what Mikihiko is doing if he took too long. Mikihiko doesn’t want to be known both for having stomach problems or yaoi tendencies with Tatsuya, and hastily went on to the main issue:
At the opening ceremony, the current president of Rosen Magicraft Japanese Branch attended. This German company is famous for their CADs, fighting for the global top spot with Maximilien Device. Tatsuya acknowledged this, president Rosen greeted him earlier today as well. Mikihiko commented it was surprising it was only a greeting, the previous branch president was very keen in trying to recruit Tatsuya at the closing party of the 9 school battle. Tatsuya replied fortunately Rosen didn’t have time today, and grimaced at his experiences last time. The current branch president’s name is (埃恩斯特•罗瑟) Einst(?) Rosen, from the main branch of the Rosen family as well. Mikihiko hesitated in saying further, before finally decided to spill the beans and told Tatsuya he’s Erica’s mother’s younger cousin. Even Tatsuya could hold a poker face after that, asking Mikihiko if it’s true Erica’s parents are affiliated with the Rosens. Mikihiko gave a slight nod, saying Erica’s mother’s father eloped with a Japanese woman a while back. Erica’s mother’s family basically are estranged from the main Rosen family. The family of Erica’s mother’s mother doesn’t have much kindness towards Erica’s parents either. After that elopement, the Rosens didn’t have a good impression of Japan, and none of the main family was sent to the Japanese branch. Tatsuya thought back to the list of presidents of the Rosen Japanese branch within the last 10 years, and he confirmed there wasn’t a Rosen family member there. Mikihiko was worried that Einst Rosen came to Japan because of something to do with Erica. Tatsuya thought Mikihiko might be worrying too much, but asks why he is bringing this up with him. Mikihiko admitted he doesn’t have anything concrete to ask Tatsuya, merely to keep this relation in mind. Mikihiko felt burdening this worry is too much for himself, and wanted to drag Tatsuya into this as well. Tatsuya commented that’s a bit unreasonable of him, but Tatsuya’s tone doesn’t blame Mikihiko for what he’s doing.

Azusa’s still working in the student council office alone when Hattori came by to discuss things. After mistaking Shippou as the new council member and then finding out Shippou declined a place on the council, Hattori now felt guilty about wanting to ask Shippou to be the candidate-in-training for the next clubs president, as it now might look like he stole the candidate away from the council. Azusa and Hattori then looked at who else can the council recruit, and after Hattori saw who was #2 he blanched and left Azusa to her work. It appears he has some unwelcome history with Izumi.

2096 April 10th, 3rd day after opening ceremony. Tatsuya and Miyuki, along with other council members, are meeting with the Saegusa twins in the council room. Tatsuya noted the irony that last year he’s the one being forced into a position, and now he’s on the other side of this attempt. He thought that if that hadn’t happened he might have had a normal high school life, though the narrative disagrees with his wishful thinking. The reason for this wishful thinking was due to Kasumi’s enmity towards him as he and Miyuki offered a position on the council. Izumi took the chance instantly, more than willing to work with Miyuki in the same group. Kasumi said rudely she’s not interested in being part of the student council, and Izumi told her she’s being too rude to Tatsuya. Azusa, Kei and Honoka was surprised Miyuki hasn’t retaliated at Kasumi for her rudeness yet, still full of smiles on her end – they were more scared this was the calm before the storm than being suspicious at the outcome. Izumi confirmed she’ll take the position, and her ever more passionate gaze at Miyuki didn’t shake up Miyuki’s perfect smile on the surface despite thoughts otherwise.

After school, Kasumi is waiting at the library for Izumi to finish council work. Haruka approached her and asked her if she wants to be part of the moral committee. The teachers have a recommendation slot for the committee, and they want to give it to Kasumi. Kasumi took the job as soon as she heard last year Tatsuya was part of the committee, and his performance far outstripped the other new members. Kasumi didn’t even care about the politics behind Haruka’s decision, that the teachers’ recommendation members last year was lacklustre and one of them even started a few problems; if the teachers can’t recommend someone competent then their positions are at stake. Haruka knew something had happened between Kasumi and Tatsuya before the opening ceremony, but she had no idea bringing this up would be this effective. Haruka wondered just what could have happened.

Spoiler for Double 7 part 3 summary, 1st third:

Nakajyo Azusa (current student council president) and Isori Kei went to ask Shippou to be part of the student council, since he’s the freshmen representative and traditionally the freshmen rep joins the student council. Shippou turns Azusa’s offer down, saying he wants to focus on training himself, to be strong enough to rival the Ten Clans members. Azusa was disappointed, but didn’t press on the matter to Shippou’s surprise. He decides to leave instead of asking further, lest he be thought of as wanting to be on the council after all.

Azusa and Kei was the ones approaching Shippou wasn’t because Miyuki dislikes Shippou, nor was it because Tatsuya and Honoka have any opinions either way. All 3 of them was busy packing up the opening ceremony. 20 other non-council students are also helping out, this was non-negotiable for them. Previously all 20 was from 1st class students, but to encourage 2nd class students this year it’s chosen from both grades. 2-E, the Engineering class with both grades, are almost all here with 20 of 25 students present. Chiaki is also here, and despite Tatsuya’s worries he wasn’t attacked by her here, with Chiaki seemingly knows to not let her grudge interfere with her job.

Miyuki’s off dealing with politicians, this one a backer supporting mages. Mayumi eventually helped Miyuki out, after the guy started to have some lecherous gazes. In previous years he didn’t show these since it was Mayumi on the stage and he’s afraid of the Saegusa & Ten Clan name. If he knows Miyuki’s one of the Yotsuba he’d probably be even more scared. Mayumi introduced her sisters, Izumi and Kasumi. After the politician left, the twins are introduced to Miyuki. Izumi (泉美) got hit by ‘love at first sight’ with yuri tendencies at Miyuki – in her eyes Miyuki is even more beautiful than Kasumi (香澄) or even Mayumi, like a goddess and the ideal woman to become. It was after Kasumi poked at Izumi that Izumi realized she was staring. Izumi asked if she can call Miyuki ‘Sempai’, Miyuki agreed, and Izumi was moved to tears. Miyuki ignored the glistening of her eyes or how Izumi’s voice trembled, showing no sign of noticing. Both Kasumi and Mayumi noticed Izumi’s behaviour and thought something was wrong.

Izumi’s words and gaze became even more passionate, commenting how in-person Miyuki looked many times more beautiful than from the last time she saw her from afar in the audience stands, and she was thankful to be in the same school as Miyuki. By this point even Miyuki is wary of the amount of worshipping Izumi is showing. Mayumi was severely embarrassed at Izumi’s behaviour, and Kasumi, even knowing Izumi’s tendencies to go berserk like this, was stunned speechless at this scene. When things finally culminated to Izumi asking Miyuki to be her ‘Onee-sama’ (Flere821 note: with all that implies from the shoujo/yuri genre stories), Miyuki’s composure finally cracked. Mayumi exclaimed for Izumi to calm down and she’s the older sister not Miyuki. Despite Mayumi and Miyuki’s voice trembling at this outcome Izumi’s gaze remained as passionate as before focused on Miyuki. Kasumi had an expression of ‘That’s it, I don’t care anymore’ on her face and turned away from this spectacle.

Sakurai interrupted from the side, having snuck up without anyone noticing, and said it’s impossible for Izumi to become Miyuki’s imouto. However, Sakurai added it’s possible for Izumi to call Tatsuya ‘Onii-sama’ instead, if Tatsuya ends up marrying Mayumi. Then as an afterthought Sakurai asks Tatsuya, who finally arrived, asking if Tatsuya married Mayumi then would it be correct for Izumi to call Miyuki ‘Onee-sama’ after all, and at the same time Miyuki exclaimed at the scenario, showing her disapproval of him marrying Mayumi (or well, anyone really…). Before Tatsuya can reply in any way Kasumi cuts in, both verbally and physically, objecting loudly at Tatsuya marrying Mayumi and jumped in front of Mayumi to act as a barricade to protect Mayumi against Tatsuya. Izumi ended up trying to calm Kasumi down, all traces of her passion towards Miyuki shelved for now. Mayumi got a headache at what the twins are doing. Mayumi called out at Tatsuya, he responded and moved in close enough to hold a conversation. Kasumi glared at Tatsuya for coming this close to Mayumi, before letting out a cry like a cat with its tail stepped on and forced to bow by Mayumi. Mayumi apologised to Tatsuya and Miyuki for her sisters’ behaviour, thoroughly embarrassed. Tatsuya can relate, he’d be mortified as well if Miyuki acted like this. Both of the Shiba siblings accepted the apology and waved off the matter as unimportant, even Miyuki; she doesn’t care Kasumi was basically antagonistic towards Tatsuya (possibly because Kasumi is an ally in preventing Mayumi marrying Tatsuya). Mayumi felt Miyuki’s response was suspicious and ominous, but didn’t have the leisure to inquire into it right now. Mayumi ran off, dragging her sisters by their collar with those two objecting to the treatment.

Scene change, Tatsuya and his friends went to the café they frequent (Anneliese). The topic of Shippou declining to join the student council came up. The student council would have bad rep if no new student joins, and Miyuki mused if they should have Sakurai join the council. Sakurai stiffened at this proposal. Tatsuya instantly shot down Miyuki’s idea, saying that’s too cruel to Sakurai. Sakurai sighed in relief, and Miyuki dropped the topic with a smile – she was just messing with Sakurai. Tatsuya added due to the tradition of having the freshmen representative joining, the next candidates would be the 2nd or 3rd on the exams list. Shizuku asked who would those be, and Honoka replied without even looking at her machine it was the Saegusa twins. Izumi came 2nd, Kasumi came 3rd, and the point difference between the first 3 places was only a few points, and these three was far ahead of the 4th and below places. Mkihiko commented judging by the placing Izumi would be the next candidate, and Miyuki visibly showed signs of distaste at this outcome – she pegged Izumi as hard to handle after their previous meeting. Tatsuya commented ultimately it’s up to the council president to decide, and the candidate’s own preferences. It’s not certain he took Miyuki’s emotions into account at all when he made this reply.

A bit later, Tatsuya finished going to the toilet and was about to leave. Before he did so Mikihiko came in. Tatsuya thought this was just a coincidence, but Mikihiko called out to him before he left. He asked for a private chat, Tatsuya agreed, though he wants this to be quick so the girls won’t have any ideas about what Mikihiko is doing if he took too long. Mikihiko doesn’t want to be known both for having stomach problems or yaoi tendencies with Tatsuya, and hastily went on to the main issue:
At the opening ceremony, the current president of Rosen Magicraft Japanese Branch attended. This German company is famous for their CADs, fighting for the global top spot with Maximilien Device. Tatsuya acknowledged this, president Rosen greeted him earlier today as well. Mikihiko commented it was surprising it was only a greeting, the previous branch president was very keen in trying to recruit Tatsuya at the closing party of the 9 school battle. Tatsuya replied fortunately Rosen didn’t have time today, and grimaced at his experiences last time. The current branch president’s name is (埃恩斯特•罗瑟) Einst(?) Rosen, from the main branch of the Rosen family as well. Mikihiko hesitated in saying further, before finally decided to spill the beans and told Tatsuya he’s Erica’s mother’s younger cousin. Even Tatsuya could hold a poker face after that, asking Mikihiko if it’s true Erica’s parents are affiliated with the Rosens. Mikihiko gave a slight nod, saying Erica’s mother’s father eloped with a Japanese woman a while back. Erica’s mother’s family basically are estranged from the main Rosen family. The family of Erica’s mother’s mother doesn’t have much kindness towards Erica’s parents either. After that elopement, the Rosens didn’t have a good impression of Japan, and none of the main family was sent to the Japanese branch. Tatsuya thought back to the list of presidents of the Rosen Japanese branch within the last 10 years, and he confirmed there wasn’t a Rosen family member there. Mikihiko was worried that Einst Rosen came to Japan because of something to do with Erica. Tatsuya thought Mikihiko might be worrying too much, but asks why he is bringing this up with him. Mikihiko admitted he doesn’t have anything concrete to ask Tatsuya, merely to keep this relation in mind. Mikihiko felt burdening this worry is too much for himself, and wanted to drag Tatsuya into this as well. Tatsuya commented that’s a bit unreasonable of him, but Tatsuya’s tone doesn’t blame Mikihiko for what he’s doing.

Azusa’s still working in the student council office alone when Hattori came by to discuss things. After mistaking Shippou as the new council member and then finding out Shippou declined a place on the council, Hattori now felt guilty about wanting to ask Shippou to be the candidate-in-training for the next clubs president, as it now might look like he stole the candidate away from the council. Azusa and Hattori then looked at who else can the council recruit, and after Hattori saw who was #2 he blanched and left Azusa to her work. It appears he has some unwelcome history with Izumi.

2096 April 10th, 3rd day after opening ceremony. Tatsuya and Miyuki, along with other council members, are meeting with the Saegusa twins in the council room. Tatsuya noted the irony that last year he’s the one being forced into a position, and now he’s on the other side of this attempt. He thought that if that hadn’t happened he might have had a normal high school life, though the narrative disagrees with his wishful thinking. The reason for this wishful thinking was due to Kasumi’s enmity towards him as he and Miyuki offered a position on the council. Izumi took the chance instantly, more than willing to work with Miyuki in the same group. Kasumi said rudely she’s not interested in being part of the student council, and Izumi told her she’s being too rude to Tatsuya. Azusa, Kei and Honoka was surprised Miyuki hasn’t retaliated at Kasumi for her rudeness yet, still full of smiles on her end – they were more scared this was the calm before the storm than being suspicious at the outcome. Izumi confirmed she’ll take the position, and her ever more passionate gaze at Miyuki didn’t shake up Miyuki’s perfect smile on the surface despite thoughts otherwise.

After school, Kasumi is waiting at the library for Izumi to finish council work. Haruka approached her and asked her if she wants to be part of the moral committee. The teachers have a recommendation slot for the committee, and they want to give it to Kasumi. Kasumi took the job as soon as she heard last year Tatsuya was part of the committee, and his performance far outstripped the other new members. Kasumi didn’t even care about the politics behind Haruka’s decision, that the teachers’ recommendation members last year was lacklustre and one of them even started a few problems; if the teachers can’t recommend someone competent then their positions are at stake. Haruka knew something had happened between Kasumi and Tatsuya before the opening ceremony, but she had no idea bringing this up would be this effective. Haruka wondered just what could have happened.

There's some description how Mayumi took when Sakurai talk (tease Miyuki) about marriage??
Well from my POV and based on character design Mayumi will notice Miyuki see her as "rival", that's means a lot from women pov, cuz mean she see Mayumi with enough potential to defeat Miyuki, even took measures to be tolerate (extremely according her way to be) Kazumi, all that means if Mayumi "notice" from the author pov.
From Kazumi pov: well they are heiress of the one of 2 top in the 10 Clans, so, Tats being so public close to Mayumi (remember: Japanese common culture are very strict personal distances, contact, language and treatment/actions to others and dress codes, plus MHnR universe (year 2096) seems more conservative than ours (2013), even talk to certain member of the hierarchy you cannot see directly the person, some ranks including veils and direct eye contact are forbidden as sign of respect, so Tats 2 in row encounters with Mayumi get too close to her (almost kissing distance and body contact) and she blushing often with him, adding forcing ask apologies the 2 times to Tats and Miyuki once, that's here when Mayumi notice Miyuki "tolerance" to Kazumi.
I bet 2 cents the issues between Kazumi and Hattori are cuz Mayumi.

EDIT: I think if Miyuki radar give alarm about Mayumi its for some good reason, after all she knows very well Tats, even bulleye about TatsxLina, if I remember Miyuki since Vol1 are aware of Mayumi and Mari, but for some reason even more of Mayumi, she knots out Tats in their house basement to warning and some other stories.

Azusa was disappointed, but didn’t press on the matter to Shippou’s surprise. He decides to leave instead of asking further, lest he be thought of as wanting to be on the council after all.

Azusa and Kei was the ones approaching Shippou wasn’t because Miyuki dislikes Shippou, nor was it because Tatsuya and Honoka have any opinions either way. All 3 of them was busy packing up the opening ceremony. 20 other non-council students are also helping out, this was non-negotiable for them. Previously all 20 was from 1st class students, but to encourage 2nd class students this year it’s chosen from both grades. 2-E, the Engineering class with both grades, are almost all here with 20 of 25 students present. Chiaki is also here, and despite Tatsuya’s worries he wasn’t attacked by her here, with Chiaki seemingly knows to not let her grudge interfere with her job.

Miyuki’s off dealing with politicians, this one a backer supporting mages. Mayumi eventually helped Miyuki out, after the guy started to have some lecherous gazes. In previous years he didn’t show these since it was Mayumi on the stage and he’s afraid of the Saegusa & Ten Clan name. If he knows Miyuki’s one of the Yotsuba he’d probably be even more scared. Mayumi introduced her sisters, Izumi and Kasumi. After the politician left, the twins are introduced to Miyuki. Izumi (泉美) got hit by ‘love at first sight’ with yuri tendencies at Miyuki – in her eyes Miyuki is even more beautiful than Kasumi (香澄) or even Mayumi, like a goddess and the ideal woman to become. It was after Kasumi poked at Izumi that Izumi realized she was staring. Izumi asked if she can call Miyuki ‘Sempai’, Miyuki agreed, and Izumi was moved to tears. Miyuki ignored the glistening of her eyes or how Izumi’s voice trembled, showing no sign of noticing. Both Kasumi and Mayumi noticed Izumi’s behaviour and thought something was wrong.

Izumi’s words and gaze became even more passionate, commenting how in-person Miyuki looked many times more beautiful than from the last time she saw her from afar in the audience stands, and she was thankful to be in the same school as Miyuki. By this point even Miyuki is wary of the amount of worshipping Izumi is showing. Mayumi was severely embarrassed at Izumi’s behaviour, and Kasumi, even knowing Izumi’s tendencies to go berserk like this, was stunned speechless at this scene. When things finally culminated to Izumi asking Miyuki to be her ‘Onee-sama’ (Flere821 note: with all that implies from the shoujo/yuri genre stories), Miyuki’s composure finally cracked. Mayumi exclaimed for Izumi to calm down and she’s the older sister not Miyuki. Despite Mayumi and Miyuki’s voice trembling at this outcome Izumi’s gaze remained as passionate as before focused on Miyuki. Kasumi had an expression of ‘That’s it, I don’t care anymore’ on her face and turned away from this spectacle.

Sakurai interrupted from the side, having snuck up without anyone noticing, and said it’s impossible for Izumi to become Miyuki’s imouto. However, Sakurai added it’s possible for Izumi to call Tatsuya ‘Onii-sama’ instead, if Tatsuya ends up marrying Mayumi. Then as an afterthought Sakurai asks Tatsuya, who finally arrived, asking if Tatsuya married Mayumi then would it be correct for Izumi to call Miyuki ‘Onee-sama’ after all, and at the same time Miyuki exclaimed at the scenario, showing her disapproval of him marrying Mayumi (or well, anyone really…). Before Tatsuya can reply in any way Kasumi cuts in, both verbally and physically, objecting loudly at Tatsuya marrying Mayumi and jumped in front of Mayumi to act as a barricade to protect Mayumi against Tatsuya. Izumi ended up trying to calm Kasumi down, all traces of her passion towards Miyuki shelved for now. Mayumi got a headache at what the twins are doing. Mayumi called out at Tatsuya, he responded and moved in close enough to hold a conversation. Kasumi glared at Tatsuya for coming this close to Mayumi, before letting out a cry like a cat with its tail stepped on and forced to bow by Mayumi. Mayumi apologised to Tatsuya and Miyuki for her sisters’ behaviour, thoroughly embarrassed. Tatsuya can relate, he’d be mortified as well if Miyuki acted like this. Both of the Shiba siblings accepted the apology and waved off the matter as unimportant, even Miyuki; she doesn’t care Kasumi was basically antagonistic towards Tatsuya (possibly because Kasumi is an ally in preventing Mayumi marrying Tatsuya). Mayumi felt Miyuki’s response was suspicious and ominous, but didn’t have the leisure to inquire into it right now. Mayumi ran off, dragging her sisters by their collar with those two objecting to the treatment.

Scene change, Tatsuya and his friends went to the café they frequent (Anneliese). The topic of Shippou declining to join the student council came up. The student council would have bad rep if no new student joins, and Miyuki mused if they should have Sakurai join the council. Sakurai stiffened at this proposal. Tatsuya instantly shot down Miyuki’s idea, saying that’s too cruel to Sakurai. Sakurai sighed in relief, and Miyuki dropped the topic with a smile – she was just messing with Sakurai. Tatsuya added due to the tradition of having the freshmen representative joining, the next candidates would be the 2nd or 3rd on the exams list. Shizuku asked who would those be, and Honoka replied without even looking at her machine it was the Saegusa twins. Izumi came 2nd, Kasumi came 3rd, and the point difference between the first 3 places was only a few points, and these three was far ahead of the 4th and below places. Mkihiko commented judging by the placing Izumi would be the next candidate, and Miyuki visibly showed signs of distaste at this outcome – she pegged Izumi as hard to handle after their previous meeting. Tatsuya commented ultimately it’s up to the council president to decide, and the candidate’s own preferences. It’s not certain he took Miyuki’s emotions into account at all when he made this reply.

A bit later, Tatsuya finished going to the toilet and was about to leave. Before he did so Mikihiko came in. Tatsuya thought this was just a coincidence, but Mikihiko called out to him before he left. He asked for a private chat, Tatsuya agreed, though he wants this to be quick so the girls won’t have any ideas about what Mikihiko is doing if he took too long. Mikihiko doesn’t want to be known both for having stomach problems or yaoi tendencies with Tatsuya, and hastily went on to the main issue:
At the opening ceremony, the current president of Rosen Magicraft Japanese Branch attended. This German company is famous for their CADs, fighting for the global top spot with Maximilien Device. Tatsuya acknowledged this, president Rosen greeted him earlier today as well. Mikihiko commented it was surprising it was only a greeting, the previous branch president was very keen in trying to recruit Tatsuya at the closing party of the 9 school battle. Tatsuya replied fortunately Rosen didn’t have time today, and grimaced at his experiences last time. The current branch president’s name is (埃恩斯特•罗瑟) Einst(?) Rosen, from the main branch of the Rosen family as well. Mikihiko hesitated in saying further, before finally decided to spill the beans and told Tatsuya he’s Erica’s mother’s younger cousin. Even Tatsuya could hold a poker face after that, asking Mikihiko if it’s true Erica’s parents are affiliated with the Rosens. Mikihiko gave a slight nod, saying Erica’s mother’s father eloped with a Japanese woman a while back. Erica’s mother’s family basically are estranged from the main Rosen family. The family of Erica’s mother’s mother doesn’t have much kindness towards Erica’s parents either. After that elopement, the Rosens didn’t have a good impression of Japan, and none of the main family was sent to the Japanese branch. Tatsuya thought back to the list of presidents of the Rosen Japanese branch within the last 10 years, and he confirmed there wasn’t a Rosen family member there. Mikihiko was worried that Einst Rosen came to Japan because of something to do with Erica. Tatsuya thought Mikihiko might be worrying too much, but asks why he is bringing this up with him. Mikihiko admitted he doesn’t have anything concrete to ask Tatsuya, merely to keep this relation in mind. Mikihiko felt burdening this worry is too much for himself, and wanted to drag Tatsuya into this as well. Tatsuya commented that’s a bit unreasonable of him, but Tatsuya’s tone doesn’t blame Mikihiko for what he’s doing.

Azusa’s still working in the student council office alone when Hattori came by to discuss things. After mistaking Shippou as the new council member and then finding out Shippou declined a place on the council, Hattori now felt guilty about wanting to ask Shippou to be the candidate-in-training for the next clubs president, as it now might look like he stole the candidate away from the council. Azusa and Hattori then looked at who else can the council recruit, and after Hattori saw who was #2 he blanched and left Azusa to her work. It appears he has some unwelcome history with Izumi.

2096 April 10th, 3rd day after opening ceremony. Tatsuya and Miyuki, along with other council members, are meeting with the Saegusa twins in the council room. Tatsuya noted the irony that last year he’s the one being forced into a position, and now he’s on the other side of this attempt. He thought that if that hadn’t happened he might have had a normal high school life, though the narrative disagrees with his wishful thinking. The reason for this wishful thinking was due to Kasumi’s enmity towards him as he and Miyuki offered a position on the council. Izumi took the chance instantly, more than willing to work with Miyuki in the same group. Kasumi said rudely she’s not interested in being part of the student council, and Izumi told her she’s being too rude to Tatsuya. Azusa, Kei and Honoka was surprised Miyuki hasn’t retaliated at Kasumi for her rudeness yet, still full of smiles on her end – they were more scared this was the calm before the storm than being suspicious at the outcome. Izumi confirmed she’ll take the position, and her ever more passionate gaze at Miyuki didn’t shake up Miyuki’s perfect smile on the surface despite thoughts otherwise.

After school, Kasumi is waiting at the library for Izumi to finish council work. Haruka approached her and asked her if she wants to be part of the moral committee. The teachers have a recommendation slot for the committee, and they want to give it to Kasumi. Kasumi took the job as soon as she heard last year Tatsuya was part of the committee, and his performance far outstripped the other new members. Kasumi didn’t even care about the politics behind Haruka’s decision, that the teachers’ recommendation members last year was lacklustre and one of them even started a few problems; if the teachers can’t recommend someone competent then their positions are at stake. Haruka knew something had happened between Kasumi and Tatsuya before the opening ceremony, but she had no idea bringing this up would be this effective. Haruka wondered just what could have happened.
