This is basically the end of the PS2 version, where the epilogue is extended:
Spoiler:

i would prefer the ps2 ending, as it leaves it open to interpretation. having read the manga, i think its much more impactful to say
Spoiler:
it seems much sweeter and much more powerful that way.

Hmm... i all depends. If you don't believe in the after life it just seems like an empty delusion... something that makes it all the sadder, if that was possible

Speaking of the manga, has it been translated into English yet?

Got it.

Very sad...

...but I still believe that Tomoyo's own story is only just beginning.

Or, at least, I hope that would be the case.

Am I the only one that likes the PS2 ending for the game?

I like PS2 ending because it reminds me a bit of the Fate/stay night PS2 game, the Last Episode one, with Shirou and Saber.

The Tomoyo fanboyism within me wants to like PS2 ending, but the PC ending is just more impressive.

My problem with the PS2 ending is that it seems to pull a "lol j/k" on you and weaken the whole purpose of the original ending. If they were gonna end with a happy end like that I would've liked a bit more closure, but instead we get a very brief conclusion that feels very rushed.

I really like all the extra scenes added in the PS2 version however.

I've read the PS2 version is slightly different from the PC one. What are those differences (beside the lack of porn)? I've read they added new scenes but, are those new scenes just the replacement for the h-ones, or actual extra content?

Also, regarding the ending in the PS2 version: Do the players have to make any specific choices to get it (whilst still being able to get the sad/original ending), or was it simply the original ending but retconned? I've got another question, has Maeda had any word on the PS2's ending? Did he give any reason for the addition of a new ending? I'd assume that maybe fanboys complained and so they added a new ending but, I also remember that Air's and Planetarian's endings, so far, have remained unchanged.

Anyway, I liked this game. The feeling was similar to Clannad's After Story but, for some reason, it felt a bit more mature. The way Tomoya and Tomoyo grew together and built their own family was really nice. The way their feelings toward each other was portrayed was really beautiful, in my opinion.

Also, even if I do not like J-Pop myself, I ended up downloading "Light Colors;" strangely, that song appealed to me.

The PS2 version has extra scenes, which lead to happier endings I guess you would say.

With extra scenes you mean the one after the credits? Or are you telling me that in order to get that scene the player has to check some new scenes in the game and make specific choices?
