I hust hope that Shiryu will be unleashed on team and defeat every member of team from Croc to Iva...and maybe Luffy finally getting a grip over his haki to defeat him

They are simply running out of time, we dont know how far is Impel Down from Marineford and how long it takes to sail there.

Gaolers surely have very powerful and impressive fighters and Shiriyu should be at par with Magellan.

Its good to have exctiting and difficult fights in Impel Down but Luffy simply dont have time.

Not to mention there is Marine cruiser-class battleship(s) and possible vice admiral guarding it... there will be many battles before they can hope to reach sea.

I just love to see Crocodile and I like how he interracts with people and how he will fare with his ex-minions.

i dont think that shiruyu can take them down right now,i mean luffy and crocodile and iva and jinbei and mr 1 and mr 2 thats just to much power for the current ppl that guard impledown,maggelan is very strong theres no doubt but i dont see him beating those guys all together,im sure they will espcape impledown and go to the marine headqurters,the only thing i dont understand is where is white beard?
i mean isnt that the arc of whitebeard vs the marines?
where is whitebeard and why they dont show what he is doing int he meanwhile,and also what about shanks? is he still fighting kaidou?

they should do an episode or 2 that expalins about those charcters....

Did u guys realized something, that the gaolers said about “gaol bullets” so it seem the bullet could do a damage to a logia user…

I have a thought the way they escaped coul be picked up by "coated sunny" with old man rayleigh navigate it....

and still wandering about what kuma said back in the SA...

and if rayligh will come and pick them up that will be a very cool way for the next arc to start when luffy travels with someone else to find all of his nakama.

Luffy might end up searching for his nakama, leaving that for another ark. Kind like when the whole story began. Luffy searching for his Nakama.

I think he's referring to what Kuma whispered to Rayleigh; it's still unknown what he was talking to him about. Probably won't find out until Rayleigh is back in the picture.

well time may be of little abundance but what the band of bandits do have is momentum, the whole lot of them are basically riding a huge high and thats I would say is enough to see most of reach the exit and beyond. Also without doubt they will only increase their numbers as they ascend ID.
Even tho ID have numbers and powerful fighters too but its still gonna be one of a task to stop such a tidal wave.

I hope there is some VA still lingering about just outside, would be nice to see some in action.

can't wait!!

It is cool seeing Croc smacking around Impel Down guards like mere rag dolls I love seeing him in action! Jinbei was quite cool too, for some reason his Fishman Karate style some what reminded me of Neji Hyuga from the "Naruto series", and he is just was intimidating and fierce as I had suspected he would be. Also on the intro page (just before page 01) was that supposed to be Vivi and uh...Mr/Ms. 8 (Forgot his name)?

I believe the name you're looking for is "Igaram", and the woman with Vivi (assuming it is Vivi) indeed is his wife.

Uh.... we saw Igaram's wife at the end of Alabasta, not long after Luffy defeated Crocodile. Her name's Terracotta. Recall that she was the one who cooked a huge feast for Luffy after he recovered from his battle.....

Anyways, I'd also like to see a stray VA stay behind just so we can see him in action. I kinda doubt that it would be Doberman, Onigumo or Momonga, though.... it'll probably be Strawberry or Yamakaji (and THAT'S only counting on the chance of the whole Buster Call squad being sent to fetch Ace). Heh, if the escape party really DOES have to take down a VA, I suppose that Buggy and Mr. 3 will sneak aboard the ship while the battle is raging on, unaware of the fact that they'll be taking a little trip to Marine HQ......

While I do like the general idea of that, one thing I've been thinking of is - what if all the Marine ships leave / have left to escort Ace's ship? ie there's no ships left for Luffy and co to hitch a ride on.

Maybe this'll be when we get to see Jinbei do something special. I rather like the idea (for example) of the group chasing after the Marine convoy on top of a huge sea monster

Yep.

I've been waiting for such a thing for a while - for Impel Down to show some weapons specifically designed to tackle Devil Fruit users, particular Logia type.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the higher ups have custom weapons for this purpose.

come to think of it... that 'shirryu' sword could be as well designed to be one thing that could cuts a logia user... well we will know for sure in upcoming chapters...

and I hope he will take action in the next fight.. he seems more badass than 'croc'

Well, the possibility of seastone weapons is something that's been speculated for a long time, that's for certain..... but those particular bullets the jailors used doesn't seem to be any good against Logias, seeing as they went right through Crocodile. Maybe they were counting on the chance that he was still wearing those cuffs, perhaps?

Anyway, I'm expecting to see more anti-DF weapons in the future, as well. I'm quite sure that the marines will count on Dr. Vegapunk to create such advanced weaponry.....
