Aw man, the subscription schedule pushed the dub back to August 11... I only hope this time will be put towards making it the best product they can give.

I haven't really seen dubs much on funimation since I got it last year but do they use the home video version or the simulcast version for more recent shows such as fairy tail and Tokyo Ravens on the site? I know broadcast dubs obviously must use the simulcast version but I'm wondering non broadcast dubs?

Because Funimation is simulcasting the show, it has the simulcast version on their site. The home release in Japan doesn't come for months after that. Since they said they always strive to get the original home releases for their DVDs, they might replace the simulcast versions on their site, but don't take my word for it.

I just wondered since they start adding the dub during their promotion for the next set or when it's near being in stores.

They have actually done a pretty good job at dubbing Fairy Tail

Part 16 is just a few weeks from being released to pre-order customers, and there's already a Part 17 trailer.

Today, I've been treated to an early serving of more dubbed episodes. And what joy, it's the cleaned up version from the DVDs. Granted some scenes are still kind of a mess, but now there's less of it.

So word has it that Funimation isn't just going to be doing a broadcast dub for FT Zero this February; they're going to do it for the rest of the anime from that point on. This means dub-only viewers will be left with a big Tartaros-less gap for a while.

It's finally been confirmed: according to Funimation's broadcast dub schedule, the broadcast dub of Fairy Tail should be starting tonight at 9pm EST.
