^ I'm ok with it, any more than a surprise attack and there would be BS moves involved, considering Doriarte took magic from a lot of people and Gray lost the bulk of his own power. Very interesting chapter, looking forward to the next one!

Maybe that big creature is the eye belonging to the Succubus. The Dark Guild Master may be one of those, if you lose, I don't need you, type masters. Also, ok Hiro I get it, Tartaros is coming soon-v-, you don't need to keep constantly referencing the gates of the underworld over and over and over again every chapter-v-;;.

It's not like the fight was awful. If anything, I appreciate it for the stakes. I just don't think it was particularly memorable, save the way Gray beat him.

That said, you don't think this is the last we've seen of Doriate, do you? I mean, seeing how he's a demon created by Zeref, I doubt Hiro would keep him alive. But he was just so suddenly gobbled up by that giant "bird"...thing, which I can't help but think it's affiliated with Succubus Eye (given the eye and all). No way it just so happened to be flying around. It must have been patrolling the area.

No clue how much we'll learn of that beast next chapter, but it sure seems we'll finally be getting to the Eternal Flame.

Considering it took Deliora an eternal ice prison to die, this one will definitely make a comeback later on...but magic ice uppercut should keep him down for a while.

As for the fly-eye, which I shall dub Ahriman until it gets a better name, it's probably another of Zeref's demons. Would be interesting to delve into that part of history, see how they were created and to what end...

I noticed that new Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece scanlated chapters were released today when they're usually released on Wednesdays. Does this mean we'll be getting the next chapter a day early too? That usually seems to be the case each time we get an early chapter, and I've always wondered why that is.

First, chapter's out today. Called it.

Second, the voice Natsu heard is definitely from the Eternal Flame. And it's of someone he seemingly knows. It'd be natural to associate a big, magical fire with Igneel, but I think Natsu would've known if it was his voice. So just who could it be?

Third...the frig was that bird thing? Seriously!

Compared to his fight against Racer, who also used a form of weakening magic, he's gotten much better. The Erza vs Minerva fight at a standstill due to things changing all the time and the big black thing finally makes a move!
