Some of the Japanese fans were speculating since the volume's release that Log Horizon was bound to have a second season because they wouldn't get Nakamura Yuuichi to voice William for all of 5 lines (and, that he was selected with this scene in mind). I've never actually heard any of Nakamura's other roles, though, so I can't judge how well he'd do this scene.

Tatsuya from Mahouka. That is his current popular role.

Kyousuke from Oreimo and Raido from valrape

Hotaro from Hyouka.

That guy is popular.

He should do quite well, especially since he's using his deeper voice for William =3

Note that there were also a number of minor mistakes or amendments, like one found in the attached map, Regius becomes Vouinen(?) in the novel and the cook for the second party changes from him to Federico (Regius/Vouinen becomes a Viking instead, etc. The Chinese release is expected to come with these issues resolved.

Yeah, I looked through a list of characters/shows he's voiced for and I've never seen any of them aside from LH.

Apparently he did Gray Fullbuster, and I think Gray has several crying scenes, so Nakamura can probably pull this off well.

Barely (at least, that we know of). Estavali already mentioned just about all the changes in the post above.

And the published volume hasn't been translated because it hasn't come out in Chinese. skythewood goes JP>CH>EN in his translations, so he's currently working off of a fan translation. He'll probably revise it once he gets a copy of the Chinese version, which is slated for around the 25th of this month.

Its totally understandable that many people choose to not fight. Many people being 21st century gamers would freeze seeing something like that the first time.
( Imagine a scenario your party tank half body was being gobble up some beast boss while other half lay on the ground plus lots of blood spewing out.)
No wonder minori didn't want to see her brother dead body even if she knew he would revive.

I wonder wouldn't a lot of people be really different if they ever got back to their normal world?

But everyone can see her. This is obvious as they will see Naotsugu who is tanking the fierce attack of 3rd of the garden Ibra Habura when they attack Ibra Habura. Tetora is speaking to everyone on the battlefield while standing on Naotsugu's shoulders.
