By the way, I was thinking about this.... I believe that with George, and the last culprit (final boss) of Umineko, we will never be shown inductive clues. That is there will be nothing that will show he is suspicious except...

for deductive reasoning. Basically, if you remove everyone from the list in some of the suspicious cases you will find that the only one who could've acted at that moment was George.

I was going to suggest that we should go back through EP1-4 and try this out... but since EP8 is going to drop any moment... maybe we can still use that sort of reasoning since EP8 will have choices of sorts?

Sigh... should've done something earlier... 8)

I have a suggestion for the episode 8 thread, should the ability to choose the answer and the culprit based on your ability be true.

Make it so that naming the answer in the Episode 8 thread, as per the process of selecting it based on Episode 8, not be allowed in any way. I suggest that, before Ep8 is translated, all discussion about the culprit be done without nouns under the assumption that the people discussing it are talking about the same person.

Or have a ton of spoiler tags.

This is apparently correct. Purple is red text; however, the culprit and only the culprit can make a statement that is a lie in purple.

Anyone who is not the culprit is telling the truth with the purple.
