Plot Summary:

Tomoya Aki, a male high school teenager who works part-time to fund his otaku lifestyle (anime, dating sims, and related merchandise) encounters a beautiful girl one day during spring vacation. A month later, he finds out that the girl is his classmate, Megumi, who is hardly noticeable to her classmates. Hoping to create a visual novel computer game, he turns to school beauties Eriri Spencer Sawamura for designing the art, and Utaha Kasumigoaka for writing the game scenario. Forming a group called Blessing Software, Tomoya then recruits Megumi to star as the "heroine" (the main character's love interest) of his game. The series follows their adventures in developing the game and their plans to sell it at the Comiket convention.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata (Saekano) gets sequel. It was announced at an event today although this doesn't surprise me much. The official site also updated and posted the news now:

Not very surprised when I saw this announcement considering its sales. No airdate officially brought up, although I said the very same thing about Psycho-Pass 2 when it was first announced.

Anyways about noitaminA, when will they say something new about Koutetsujou no Cabaneli? That's the most anticipated anime this year for me and yet they couldn't even do anything about it.

First part of the LN was finished on vol. 7 as I heard but Maruto already planned a sequel. They adapted 4 volumes in S1. So I wonder if they plan 10 eps anime, 12-13 eps with adding short-stories from SD or a movie for example?

~10k atm. Only 2 volumes released as of yet.

So there won't be as much butchering as the first season did.

However the series is going to end very open.

I remembered when Eriri hit Tomoya with a pape fan when he was narrating "Our fight is just the begi-" at the end.
I'm still not sure which one is right and wrong.

Eri hit him because "our fight is just beginning" or "and thus our fight continues" or the like are flags about a series ending for good. And thank goodness she did!

I watched the entire first series and enjoyed it so I'm glad it got another season. Though I thought it was sort of already hinted who picked at the end of the first? I don't read the manga so

Looking forward to this one

The first season had the author himself worked on it as the scriptwriter, that's why despite it got a lot of material removed, it was done pretty good.

I hope he do the same for the second season.

with only 3 vols it doesnt need to get rushed tbh. if they went for 12 episodes this time and an ova or just 13 episodes and no ova it can turn out to be really good
