First Episode:
Going to follow this all the way. Very fluffy, very light. Almost like Lucky Star and Hidamari Sketch, but with a different dynamic. I'm so going to follow this.

Also, it makes me learn some Japanese words. XD

Ah, cute, enjoyable entertainment for a good 20-odd minutes. I liked the flow they took; more slice-of-life stuff than the usual expectations of similar series, and the humour is more spotaneous than concentrating on a central point. Definitely following this.

That was entertaining and definitely looks like it'll be my "enjoyable fluff" show of the season.

Yukari did put me in mind of a younger version of Hidamari's Yoshinoya-sensei.

I did love the reactions from the other two when Yui scored 75% M in the test.

An anime that talks about the Maunder Minimum and does a Cygnus Hyōga's Diamond Dust impersonation, what there is not to like?

Animation director : Akiko Matsuo

Episode 3

Animation director : Keisuke Kojima

Episode 4
Screenplay : Sayaka Harada, Natsuko Takahashi
Director : Seung Hui Son

Episode 5
Screenplay : Pierre Sugiura , Natsuko Takahashi
Director : Masaki Tachibana (ep 1)

Episode 3 is definitely the one I look forward to watching. Hiroshi Ikehata aka ahoboy often brings young dynamic animators for this kind of series (last time was Minami-ke Tadaima #3 or A-Channel #10) though it has been a while we haven't seen crazy episodes like his Zettai Karen Children episodes.

Well, this is a breeze to watch with minimal brain power expenditure, so I'll take it.

And there's nothing wrong with enjoying a few puns while I'm at it.

I made a (so far) list of internet references in the OP and EP 1, if anyone's interested.

(Although I have NO idea where they got the S&M Quiz, since it's a Japanese site, most likely.)

== Reference for this Series ==
(OP)
Yuyushiki
Mom
Friends
(Unusually, though, it DOES NOT display any actual results on friends, despite the search keyword.)

(Episode 1)
Mauder Minimum
Sun
S&M Test
(Not the real link, but something similar, I suppose......)

I'm not particularly one for all-girl cast kind of shows but Yui really strikes a chord with me, as in she's very adorable (and her ドM result was a good laugh).

The highlights for me were the two girls "taking" Yui's hair, and .... TA!

Yuyushiki 02 - WENK

Such a frank discussion of boobs in the first half. Matsumoto (or "Mom") is a great teacher character - I do wonder if she'll ever return that third computer - and once again, we have Ai Kayano playing a character with "Ai" in her name. Yuzuko's method of preventing ice cream eating ("Highly Toxic!") was inventive. My favorite fictional food label is still "Dead Dove Do Not Eat", but this comes pretty close. Though I wasn't expecting it (I was hoping I'd be a Yuzuko fan), Yukari is rapidly becoming a character to keep an eye on. She's spacey, but observant - and anyone who draws a penguin like that must have some sort of art skills. And probably the most interesting thing about Yuyushiki is that it's great for trivia. The Japan Ice Cream Organization is 100% real. And the website link is also making me hungry. The show's got a pretty set formula down by now, so the rest is up to variations, wordplay and smooth remixes. That impromptu song making at the start of the episode was unexpected, but also something I wouldn't mind seeing more of in anime. Music makes the world go around.

the jokes don't really have any punch or flow to them.

found myself falling asleep again in episode 2 as I did with episode 2.
