The scan itself is about a PS3 game called "Cross Edge" (or X Edge). It's somewhat like a JRPG that uses characters from various GUST, Capcom, Namdai, and NIS games, to name a few. It has characters from Darkstalkers, Disgaea, Ar tonelico, Spectral Souls, Atelier Marie and Mana-Khemia 2 games. It has been released in the US since May 27th.

Far left, Darkstalkers characters (Capcom):
Morrigan, Felicia and Demitri

Next, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia (GUST and NIS):
Aurica, Misha and Shurelia

Next, Disgaea series (Nippon Ichi):
Etna and a Prinny

Next, Spectral Souls (Idea Factory):
Meu

Last column, the first two characters come from Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (GUST):
Lilia (although her US version name is Lily)
Roze (although his US version name is Raze)

and the last character in that last column is from Atelier Marie (GUST):
Marie (or Marlone, her whole name)

Oh, and the last two characters that don't belong to the columns are original characters made for the game. The guy is Yuuto Kannagi (his English version name is York Neely), and the girl is Mikoto Aiba (or Miko Aiba in the English version).



Umm, does anyone know who these two are, and from what manga they're from? I found this ad in the April issue of one of my mags.

I was interested in that picture too, so I did some searching without much luck... but a request on 4chan returned the result that it's a H-Game called 'Dies Irae'. Not quite what I had in mind.

I've been looking around for an anime that I saw back in 04, it was set in the future in space. The main character had a lightsaber-ish sword and looked kinda like Gene Starwind from outlaw star (Pretty sure it wasn't anything in the Tenchi series). The overall art style was also reminiscent of Outlaw Star, so I'm guessing it was made in the 90's or early 2000's.

Anyone know what it is? Thanks.

Pretty much 99% of the time anything like this will be from an eroge. Check the resolution of the image, 640x480, one of the standard CG resolutions, along with 800x600. If the resolution is one of these, it's very likely to be from a VN or eroge.

edit: SuperAwesomeMan - first thing that springs to mind is Lost Universe.

Anyway, the design of the character and the general style make me think of Nitroplus. Thought it might have been This (NSFW!) but none of the characters fit, so I guess not. So if anyone has a clue I'd be interested to know
