The Simpsons or the Roadrunner (or Roadracer, the one one with a coyote chasing a bird). It is a close fight.

Family Guy has to be the best cartoon ever. there are so many great parts in that
"jugde: I sentence you to 20 year in prison
Meg: Oh no, Louis: Oh no, Chris: oh no.
Koolade man: (busts through the wall) Oh yeah (Slowly backs away)"

Then it'll have to be the simpsons lots of great parts from that

"Japanese waiter in American themed resteraunt: Howdy Gangstas
Lisa: don't you serve anything that's remotely japanese?
Waiter: don't ask me, I don't know anything, I am product of american education system. I aslo build poor cars and inferior style electronics."

Third has to be south park so many racist remarks that are too horrible to quote here.

In forth would have to be the Adult Swim cartoons, it's so rediculously random,
"Stormy: hey I found a solution to all our problems, the other stormys and I have built a time machine.
Quin: no you didn't, you don't have the intellect to build one.
Story: You're right, so I guess it's not so much a time machine as it is a dodge ball cannon."

Also I heard Fox was responsible for Family guy's low ratings, they kept changing time slots for family guy that no one knew when it was on. Either way if it ever came back I know I'd watch it.

Now that's a good one! I never thought of that one right away. I'm just pissed because they canceled the damn show just after I convinced some of my coworkers to watch it too.

Just incase you were wondering It's not an HBO cartoon. It's actually canadian just like the comic.

They actually showed it uncut on a non-digital cable channel up here in canada

Add another vote for family guy. The characters in this cartoon were thought out so well, each one fits into the series perfectly. Brian, your my dawg! ^_^

Futurama and southpark are a very close second. I mainly watch these because 2 of my favorite characters in american cartoons are in these shows. Bender and cartman.

The Simpsons followed by Futurama & South Park, though when I was a kid I was a big fan of Hanna/Baberas work
