This has to be one of the most heaviest concentrations of fan-art for any given anime this season, except for Rail Gun, Ore Imo and Shigeki no Kojin.

The second episode has a high concentration revolving around the arrogant blonde Azusa, who had soft spot for cute things but doesn't like anything that doesn't revolve around luxury. Her date with Yokodera looks very nice, and I love how she alongs with the main characters. It seems she does take multiple things at the same time, and Yokodera loves teasing her. Too bad it turns out that she has a sad past, so I think she has a difficult life around her, therefore the next episode will probably focuses more about her.

Whew.
Pacing is the same as episode 1, it's freaking fast!
Looks like they'll be ending the arc next ep! It was pretty dramatic in the manga.
I hope the director nails it!

Yep, it's also pretty high up BD and DVD pre-order charts too. I didn't realize this series was that popular.

Just finish that part of the LN in time before the episode...

1. あずにゃんぺろぺろ...although Azuki Azusa is more of a dog (Tsukiko is the neko).
2. But then, Tsukiko is still too kawaii for Azuki Azusa to take over for now. It's still the same voice from the Alice day (I'm not even talking about Toki...although same voice as well), but this time around, fits pretty well in with Tsukiko.
3. Of course, Ogura Yui's voice makes Tsukiko-moeness go up the roof.
4. On note of seiyuu, Yuki Kaji absolutely annoy me in Shingeki, while here I'm totally fine. I guess he should just stay with perverted male role (Waiting for RKB S2. おー)

I agree. Her seiyuu is OGURA Yui 小倉唯, who is half of the singing duo YuiKaori ゆいかおり. She has been an idol since her early teens and is still just 17. Her dancing was digitized as the basis for Hatsune Miku's Project Diva. Her range as a seiyuu isn't wide, but she does what she does very effectively.

And of course, the other half of ゆいかおり (Ishihara Kaori) is voicing Azuki Azusa. Only surprise is that the ED is sing only by Ogura Yui instead of ゆいかおり.

The main selling point of the LN is the illustrator anyway (At least to start with...we all know Illustrations trick people into buying LNs). Not much surprise that there are THIS many fanarts...

Also, is it me or this resembles TWGOK more than Date a Live has so far?
-Supposed rich girl turns out to be poor
-Guy gets closer to help her deal with a problem of the supernatural kind
-Things go awry halfway in.
-Bail out of problems with boob touch

The biggest difference is that the female partner (Tsukiko) seemed to be raising as many flags as the guy

I think this episode basically explains why Azusa so desperately wanted the façade (to the point where we assume the Statue gave it to her) -- to protect her against people seeing her vulnerable self, who was bullied at her old school (makes sense why she recently transferred). In the grand scheme of things, though, it makes Tsukiko and our dear protagonist's problems seem a bit less important. But the path is clear: Youto's (forced) honesty will prove to Azusa that she can actually get real friends without the mask, and that she doesn't need the façade to live a happy life.

I wonder if Komame is her actual name, is some sort of slur/nickname they gave her. "Hosome" (another reading of the kanji for Komame) can be translated as "narrow eyes", so I wonder if it's a dig at her (apparently) partly non-Japanese heritage. Then again, maybe she assumed a fake name?

Anyway, the show is still moving quite quickly, but I enjoyed the second episode. Looking forward to things largely getting resolved/worked-out next week.

Oh God, Tsukiko is killing me. Her stone-faced fits of jealousy are off-the-charts adorable.

This is another wonderful episode, building well on the momentum of the first episode. It does feel as if the end of the Second Episode was the end of the first volume of the LN - I've never read it, but it feels like it.
