Itami was trying his best to help Tuka with her trauma. It's not an easy task. Now to help Tuka, he and the small team he has are going to have a rematch with the Fire dragon. It should be fun to watch.
It's interesting that Itami got the advice he needed to hear from a former enemy. Now he can do what needs to be done. It's just too bad that due to Tyuule, things aren't going to well when they return. Wonder how she is going to pull that plan off.

Actually, I wonder why Duran is currently in the camp for the refugees. Isn't he supposed to be a king of a neighboring country? Thinking about it, if a bear kills a human in our current society, there will be a hunt by officials to kill the bear. The bear won't even be considered for putting in a zoo or anything. It will be killed as soon as it is spotted. In that regards, the dragon would be treated the same way in our world.

I don't get what you're saying. Yao's motivated by her mission, not revenge. If the dragon isn't stopped, her friends and family will be killed. It doesn't matter whether it's killed or not as long as it stops massacring her people. |

I'm not talking about revenge. I'm just referencing that if the dragon existed in our world, protocol would have it that the dragon be hunted and killed immediately, since it would be treated like any other bear or mountain lion. In this case, besides the territorial issues, the JDF would have hunted the dragon down in normally.

Didn't Yao said to Itami for the first time they met that "Don't you want to avenge his people who killed by the enemy!?" or something like that. And I thought Yao feels that way. If I'm wrong then, disregard it. |

Oh wow, that was incredibly rushed. I guess they're gonna have to keep this pace up since they're aiming to cover all of book 2 and 3.
2-3 episode until we're caught up with the manga, and from there it's all novel territory.

That oldman who talk with itami? Is that the same oldman general who attack the base at the early season 1? The one pina visit? He look so happy now
And he look like big boss from metal gear solid with eyepatch, fake arm and that probably not going to happen but, will he ever going back as badass general again? I want to see bigboss in action |

This is unexpected that Lord Duran stayed at JSDF Arnus Hill headquarters, but I'm mad that Yao broke Tuka by telling the truth about her father's death. Speaking of Tuka, it's saddening that she's disillusioned and in complete denial that she treated Lt. Itami as her father.
Now then, I hope that the JSDF will take out that Fire Dragon. However, they might do it quick as the Empire might make its move, especially Tyuule. |

Sorry, if offended.
I thought something is going to happen to Pina, but Noriko too? Noriko's story and her adventures isn't finished just yet. Spies and enemies among the refugees. Is part of the Empire's plan or Tyuule's own stregedy? And there is a saying "Refugees are human being". Well, in the Special Region not all living beings are human, confusing. |

I just want to remind everyone that from the very beginning, the major political conflict had always been about cultural shock on the part of the Empire.
Specifically, they could not comprehend nearly every decision made by the JSDF, as none of it makes any sense from the Empire's perspective. The leaders of the Empire try their best to work with what they know, but in essence they kept hitting road blocks because the JSDF never responded in a way that they could comprehend. For example, the Empire never considered it important enough to return enslaved Japanese citizens. They could have done this at any time, and had they realised how vital it was to Japan they could have got some good will out of it. Yet culturally they didn't see it as anything wrong. Thus, to the Empire the response appeared to be a massive over-reaction. And that was why Tyuule thinks killing the girl would cause all out retaliatory war. Once again, she is making an error. But that's basically the main source of conflict in this show. The political channels are basically blocked by cultural differences.
