it is always dangerous to make a continuation of a series that already has decades and a legion of fans, even without considering quality, there is always the question of affective / selective memory.

I recently saw FMP, I've always heard wonderful things about the series, but the first season is pretty mediocre and forgettable, but the second onwards is really worth it, but the things I heard never mentioned it about the first season.

I appreciate this week's episode for finally explaining Shikibu's armor (even though "Saibougu" is a bad pun) and why Hachisu's only skill is shooting people with a lotus root gun. Ninjas with lame skills should stick together.

The bloodbath continues. I was shocked to see Hachisu get both of her hands cut off, I thought for sure Shikibu would protect her from the blow. Damnit, he had one job.

Ain't that the truth. Well, at least, they defeated Yasha Itaru. However, I can't believe Shichigen fell under her spell, again.
