ep.10

Great episode setup for the upcoming battle. Nice fanservice here from the Serpent girls and damn Hibari you messed up again which is predictable LOL

Also finally Rin or Suzune whatever you may call her has her teacher outfit finally in the anime. The Light faction's flight was so retro reminded me of old school Super Robots.

Either way great epiosde can't wait for the next.

I think this anime gave me the go to get a vita and get the game. Need to save up.

Love the designs of the girls each having they're own unique personality.

Senran Kagura 11 - For the Want of a Nail

A bit videogamey in parts (but then, considering the origin of the anime, I can't really blame it), but I really liked what this episode did. It played it a little broad, to be sure, but the contrast between the Hanzo girls and the Hebi girls, and how they're directly serving as foils to each other (to say nothing of the relationships they have among themselves) is an episode concept I can get behind. It's a wonderful character study in the middle of all the underwear and the fighting. The only one who didn't get any sort of backstory was Homura, but I suspect they might be saving that for the final episode. Hibari's such a big-hearted girl, trying to save the enemy as well as her friends. Not bad for a rabbit. If this was Madoka, any of the Hebi girls might have turned into a Witch, but they have a chance at redemption here. I want to know more about the universe, especially how the other two quintets of girls introduced in future games also serve as foils to the main characters, and now the Hebi girls too. The ninja magical girl aspect of this series draws me in, but the characters keep me here. Looking forward to the finale! And maybe a second season!

Episode.11

Besides the fanservice I love the action here, too bad it was a bit cliched with the Super Saiyan power ups of the Hanzou girls, thanks to Hibari. Overall though I did enjoy the fights of individual girls along with Suzune going ninja. Oh how I wish there is a Daidoji vs Suzune scene in the last episode.

8/10 Great episode

The main problem is that while the first half or so was fine, the finisher was a tad bit... I don't know, hurried? Mirai is one thing, but Yomi and Hikage defeated with just one attack? The anime has shown they were stronger than that, so I don't know about that... Also, maybe they shouldn't have stuffed so many flashbacks in one episode like they did here. Another thing noticeable was that the art quality wasn't exactly high.
