Looks like there isn't much known about the Ultra Sun/Moon yet... Maybe now it will be possible to fight Lillie?
Anyways, there is no way a new Pokemon game (as in, new new) would be released so close to the previous release (Sun/Moon). And there is no reason they would make an updated version of Sun/Moon on another console. So everything makes total sense there. Don't have a Switch yet (in fact, recently got a new New 3DS), so the more 3DS, the better it goes for me, anyhow. (And I don't care about Pokken)

It's unrealistic to expect a Pokémon Switch to be done so soon in the first place. Even if the rumored job posting for an HD model designer at Game Freak was true, the fact that it states the job will last until May 2018 pretty much confirms that development will go beyond 2017.
I wonder how many people will become just as disappointed when they don't see a Metroid or Smash Bros game at E3 this year... |

GameFreak has given me a reason to get the new 2ds, which I was already contemplating on getting (especially since it hass my two favorite colors, blue and black). Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are just overkill at this point... and I am ok with it.

Certainly curious to see what they'll do with this 2.0 version. Though not sure how much variation they'll really have time for. It'll have been slightly under a year since they released the first Sun/Moon games.
Though can't imagine I'll be picking it up. If I want to replay something like Sun/Moon...I'll just replay Sun/Moon. Won't be exactly the same as the Ultra versions, but probably close enough. And won't cost another $50. Still good news for those with the time/interest.

It wasn't in either of the trailers, but on the official website there's a screenshot of the trainer looking up at Necrozma at those ruins where you fight Solgaleo/Lunala. I'm assuming this will be similar to Kyurem fusing with Reshiram/Zekrom.

Well, nice to see Kommo-o getting a big boost (now if only certain other pseudo-legendaries got a boost, rather than making overpowered things even more overpowered).
Also happy to see Kahili and Ryuki show up earlier rather than just showing up at the end, almost out of nowhere. |

...trick room, perhaps?
Most interesting parts were easily seeing Kahili and Ryuki, specially the room the latter is in: are we getting some kind of mock up gym now? And are we finally going to be able to visit that darn golf course in the hotel? Other stuff: Hi, shiron! Wait, what about Nebby? If there's a monocle in that new photo thing, all is well. |
